@pfn why not just make it a dependency and use sbt-assembly or something?
@milessabin isn't posterous long since defunct?

@nafg, because plugins aren't assembled

@nafg

within the plugin project?

anyway, assembly isn't the right solution when a single line setting does what u want

@nafg hmm. Where is implicit.ly hosted these days?

@milessabin looks like tumblr, via https://github.com/n8han/herald
At least, notes.implicit.ly (which is where it redirects to)
I'm not clear the exact relationship to ls.implicit.ly
TLD is owned by n8han, and ls.implicit.ly seems to be a heroku app:
~ (home) $ ping ls.implicit.ly
PING us-east-1-a.route.herokuapp.com (54.243.170.106) 56(84) bytes of data.
@milessabin curious what you're trying to accomplish

Yeah, just that.
ISTR that Nathan got fed up with maintaining an SBT plugin for implicit.ly. I'd forgotten that the whole thing had also migrated from Posterous to Tumblr. So I guess what we actually need is a port of Herald to an SBT plugin.

So, I want to write some tasks triggeredBy (onload in Global)
Is that even possible? Hmm

Hi guys, any advice on how I can make sbt use a custom Scalac Global instance?
cvogt-gitter

My goal is to use a custom reporter for scalac
cvogt-gitter
@cvogt-gitter

or overriding the sbt reporter would actually be enough for the moment

Oh, onLoad is a setting, that sucks

You can't use a custom scalac
But look at compilerReporter taskkey
Sbt already uses a custom global for incremental compilation

eh, I guess I'll just keep hooking update
