Hey guys -- I'm running into a new travic.ci issue; seems builds are broken for OpenJDK 7. I haven't done anything but update from sbt <0.13.12 to 0.13.12. Do you know if this is an sbt bug?

buffer overflow detected : /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-amd64/bin/java terminated

(reverted to sbt 0.13.11 -- problem persists; filed a bug with travis.ci now). If you have a work-around, let me know

Fixed by adding sudo: false (probably was never upgraded to contemporary platform)

Any good sbt plugins for static site generation? My apologies if this isn't the right place to ask

Has anyone encountered issues with SBT and typesafe config on multi-module projects and test to test dependencies? When I run sbt mymoduleA/test which depends on mymoduleB/tests, the config is correctly loaded from mymoduleB. When I run sbt test instead the config is not loaded by the classloader

@edmondo1984 I believe I came across just that some time ago: http://stackoverflow.com/q/38056815/2576

it works when I run the tests only of the submodule @mikem
but when I run the tests in the multi-module build it doesn't

Hi, is it possible to generate a pdf source code documentation ?

Hi, I am trying to create sub-projects with scala extending "Build" class in my build class. SBT creates project for me but they have empty "project" folders. They do not compile. What should I do?

Hi, does anyone know if ~/sbt/0.13/global.sbt is supposed to provide default, fall-back settings or if it should trump project settings? Can't really tell from docs...

is there a mechanism to somehow put two different SBT projects in the same root directory? Or some other mechanism to pull in assets from a parent directory? I’ve got a big tree of submodules as things stand and it just makes things slow.

@easel Yes, you use the method aggregate like here: https://github.com/lunduniversity/introprog/blob/master/build.sbt#L76 and then put one build.sbt in each of your sub-project’s folders and sbt will read them recursively. Se also http://www.scala-sbt.org/0.13/docs/Multi-Project.html

Does sbt provide any nice ways of making a dependency matrix? I have a project that has basically a table of dependencies based on which version you want, and it's been a very manual process making all of the projects.

@Jacoby6000 You could perhaps code your matrix in plain Scala (using Strings or something better) and then traverse it to make sbt settings...

@bjornregnell yeah that’s what I’m doing. The issue is then everything loads up in one big sbt config. I’d like to be able to work on a submodule “on it’s own” without having to re-do my directory structure and vendoring in a seperate repo.

@bjornregnell i suppose. Just thought maybe there was something out there that made it easier
