It worked as advertised for me and I plan to give it a go. It is listed in the sbt community plugin pages but it hasn't showed up in https://dl.bintray.com/sbt/sbt-plugin-releases/ area.

Umm... we have a bad sbt release / documentation
Latest sbt says: trait Build in package sbt is deprecated: Use .sbt format instead, while latest documentation still tells to use it in http://www.scala-sbt.org/0.13/docs/Full-Def.html
is the deprecation premature or the documentation obsolete?

The documentation says it's the old style, and that it's not the recommended style.
And that section is in the appendix
When it's removed in 1.0 we'll remove it from the 1.0 docs too.

any reference doc on how settings are merged when multiple *.sbt files are in the same dir ? I don't quite get the scoping

No, it's not well defined. There's an issue to make it more robust. But generally, plus or minus, I've found it applies things alphabetically

or coursierUseSbtCredentials in ThisBuild := true
couldn't make it work
Dale Wijnand
@dwijnand

that won't work because of how coursier decided to do things
which is a mistake on coursier's part

ah!
that is documented :)

is that the intended behavior or a bug on their side?

Let's say it could be improved, so people can define things in ThisBuild

Umm... why is the test:console giving warnings about unused imports?
Like so:
scala> res6.costs
<console>:9: warning: Unused import
import res0
                            ^
<console>:10: warning: Unused import
import res1

@hvesalai probably because you have -Ywarn-unused-imports in scalacOptions ?
pfn @pfn shrugs

I'm trying to configure my project on travis-ci, but the supersafe SBT plugin says it requires the resolver to be set in global. Is there a way to set this in Travis or is there a way to add the resolver in my plugins.sbt?
I have thus far been unable to accomplish the latter

@darkfrog26 add the resolver in your plugins.sbt
