I have a scala project (agency) that contains two independent sub-modules (enterprise and agent). I'm trying to use sbt debian:packageBin to create a .deb file for the enterprise agent but I'm having trouble. I'm able to use sbt assembly to create fat jars for both enterprise and agent but I want to create a .deb for enterprise that contains the enterprise jar. Any suggestions?

The names of the modules is irrelevant and I see that it was distracting. I was just trying to give a concrete example. I was wondering if there was a way to create a .deb file of just a submodule.

I can get access to the declared dependencies of a module by writing libraryDependencies.value. How can I get access to the transitive dependencies and selected versions after resolving?

Is there a way to search loaded setting keys by name in sbt console?

you can use tab completion
actually, use settings
> settings scala

scalaSource

  Default Scala source directory.

initialCommands

Initial commands to execute when starting up the Scala interpreter.

scalaHome

If Some, defines the local Scala installation to use for compilation, running, and testing.

autoScalaLibrary

Adds a dependency on scala-library if true.

scalaVersion

The version of Scala used for building.

More settings may be searched by increasing verbosity. See 'help settings'.

PSA: to import sbt 1.0 projects in IntelliJ be sure to use the latest update of the Scala Plugin (2017.2.6) or a recent Nightly release
