Hi guys :tada:
I work at AvantStay and we're looking for backend engineers to join us.

We are a distributed start-up team with HQ based in LA.
We write functional Scala, leveraging the best tool for the job out there: heavily rely on typelevel stack (cats, cats-effect, fs2), postgres, kafka, graphql.

We highly value proficiency in the tools that we use, but even more importantly open-mindedness, ability to deliver, and a can-do mentality.

You can check our product out at avantstay.com
Ping me at yslinkin@avantstay.com if you're interested.

Hi All, I am a Director of a small technology consulting company in Toledo, OH and are looking urgently to hire a remote, U.S. based, full time employee or contractor for an experienced Scala Developer. Ideally, this person would be brought on as a full-time employee but we are open to a contract with the expectation of 40-45 hours worked per week. We believe having at least 3-5 years Scala experience is needed for this role as our client says their legacy Scala code base is complex. Part of this role is to lead a small (3-4 person) team while we are delivering for our client, communication skills with both clients and developers is key. We expect this work to last at least 8-10 months but we provided professional services with around 50 clients a month and could utilize this resource in other client engagements assuming the skill set is there. This person will lead to help get our junior developers up to speed on Scala as well. Would anyone here be interested this position or know of someone who would be? Our job descriptions can be found here - http://emprise1.com/staffing/#jobs
