We are looking for a seasoned software engineer who is capable of working independently to design, develop and support data engineering solutions
Location- Warsaw, Poland
Contract- 6+ Months
Any EU citizen of any EU country can apply. Remote work from EU possible.
Your main responsibility will be to write highly performant and scalable code that will run on top of our Big Data platform (Spark/Hive/Impala/Hadoop).
The role offers an opportunity for development in areas of system architecture, machine learning, data science and DevOps.
Essential
- Experience in designing, developing enterprise applications
- Good knowledge and Hands on Scala Programming
- Proficient in SQL
- Strong experience with Apache Spark
- Experience with messaging and complex event-processing systems such as Kafka and Storm
- Excellent in writing shell scripts
