Sorry I don't follow.
I built the ecommerce for Scorpius. At the very beginning of the fork.
Which contained mostly orion related code.

Its definitely something needed. And I tried working with reaction in the past and felt it was redundant to have a separate system so that's why I'm going to build it onto core as an option.
After I got going it was. At first it was a little difficult.
When I write the api it will be a piece of cake.

and by this means you are able to upload products straight from the cms dashboard panel as well? or do you seed it manually from the code?

The new Scorpius is going to be focused around a central config so you'll be able to add some config options and spin up the module on no time.

Yeah as soon as I'm finished with the next push I'm going to focus on expanding core a bit with good features.
Such as a redirects module. Where youbcsn insert redirects for seo related stuff. Make pages and nav better. Ecommerce etc.

Hey everyone, I'm building an online gallery that needs to show images at various resolutions for different devices and screen sizes. Does someone have any advice on what's the optimal solution for storing the images / managing versions (different sizes) in GridFS with a Scorpius admin?

Greetings, everyone . I know it has been silent for a few weeks. I would like to announce that Scorpius is undergoing a major refactor for the 1.0 release. As the previous incremental updates have been focused on keeping functionality of the previous Orion project, as well as making incremental improvements. I'm happy to say the 1.0 Release will be a fresh implementation , a true implementation of what I originaly invisioned Scorpius to be.

Scorpius 1.0 will be focused as a Headless CMS, with an API backend. This will essentially allow you to build your front end in any language or system you please while leveraging the full power and control of Scorpius.

After vetting through just about every framework there is today, Angular2 , Angular1, Ember, Amber, React, Polymer, Blaze , ... Blaze2 and Vue. I have come to a conclusion that Vue is the most future proof and easy going framework to really take Scorpius to the next level. On that note, Scorpius 1.0 will be refactored and built on top of Vuejs

This is great news @rwatts3! Thank you for all the hard work! I too have researched this past few months, trying and testing a lot of frontend and I think VueJS is the most simple and elegant solution and its so much similar to blaze! :clap: :+1: :smile:

Hello everyone, So I want to share a major change that will be coming to Scorpius to help better prepare you. Scorpius will be moving to a Headless CMS Approach . Where you will deploy your schema and the admin panel to your server, and be able to write the entire front end of your application using any technology you choose. It will not be tightly coupled with the framework, but I will be working on a few boilerplate projects to help get you started.

Some front end technologies may include React, Vue, Riot, and even Polymer , from a truly decoupled approach.

If anyone would like to help with the boiler plates and documentation please speakup.

Good day everyone, Just wanted to share an update on Scorpius 1 progress
as most of the lapsed time has been directed towards research a previous mention of the view layer included using Vue.js
Within that time a discovery of nuxt.js evolved. If you are not familiar with Nuxt, it is the Vue equivalent of Next (react based)
