May 09 2017 00:58
you can go into the public directory and delete the images folder
Sean Vreeland
@seanvree
May 09 2017 00:58
ahh, okay
Andrew Newell
@scytherswings
May 09 2017 00:58
that will force a full refresh on all images
Sean Vreeland
@seanvree
May 09 2017 00:58
what was the scrape thing?
Andrew Newell
@scytherswings
May 09 2017 00:58
but what’s the current behavior?
Scrape thing?
Perhaps I should add a way for users to force a full refresh of sessions and recently added?
Sean Vreeland
@seanvree
May 09 2017 01:02
yeah, that's a good diea
does it refresh on a serverupdate?
Andrew Newell
@scytherswings
May 09 2017 01:03
well
Not currently
I only make sure the images directory is present
Sean Vreeland
@seanvree
May 09 2017 01:04
ahh, I would maybe bake that in
doesn't hurt to refresh it
plus, if you don't that folder would just keep growing right?
Andrew Newell
@scytherswings
May 09 2017 01:05
Yeah that’s what I was thinking
well
technically once the plex recently added and sessions get expired the images are deleted
Sean Vreeland
@seanvree
May 09 2017 01:05

Andrew Newell
@scytherswings

May 09 2017 01:07
oh shit wait

printf "\nDestroying tmp folder to clear caches and leftover pidfiles.\n"
rm -rf tmp

printf "\nDestroying public/images to clear leftover images.\n"
rm -rf public/images

Andrew Newell
@scytherswings
May 09 2017 01:09
I had started doing some of that log stuff
and i’m working on perfecting the upgrade to rails 5.x
I’ll be adding full end-to-end tests which will help me validate that the UI behaves correctly
Finally I’ll be able to test my javascript
Which will bring test coverage up to like… 100% hopefully
It will also make adding new features a lot easier
because I’ll be able to know if I break anything
Sean Vreeland
@seanvree

Andrew Newell
@scytherswings
May 09 2017 01:11
Yeeeee boooyeeeeeee
It’s nice knowing shit won’t break
And I’ll add an upgrade test one day, making sure that the current master can be safely upgraded to the new dev version etc.
that way I can test my migration scripts
