I think using docker/vagrant etc when you already have Linux OS just add one more layer of complexity
most developers at shopware are using directly Linux
and some with additional docker containers
also one more thing, do admin UI struggles with watch mode in firefox, especially shopping experience blocks section.
did you have this in your version?
