Hi @E-VANCE the .ss360-no-img class is appended for custom results, I'm creating a ticket for this - nevertheless this shouldn't be an issue - the class name is just an internal flag.

Also wondering why the first results don't pick up on the images and the titles, the markup is identical with our other articles...

What results do you mean?

@JVankat See the link to the exemplary query above – the first four are not picking up on the images in the articles (hence the .no-img-class)

If you compare the articles (no-img & img) then there shouldn't be a difference in how the results are built

@E-VANCE okay, now I see what you mean, this isn't caused by the ss360-no-img class, but by those results being defined within a Query Mapping - you'd need to update the HTML of the custom results in the Query Mapping Editor to achieve the same look as the standard search results..

@ladymarion the site looks pretty fine to me :) It looks like you're using the Built-in mode integration, meaning SS360 doesn't render the search results (it only provides the posts that should be displayed), so you would need to customize the template files to remove the publish date (but I probably wouldn't be able to help you with this - I'm not that familiar with WP themes). Alternatively you could switch the integration to the Custom Mode - but the search would look completely different and might need some tweaking to fit your site's theme (see https://docs.sitesearch360.com/wordpress-integration).

Ok @JVankat , I have another question :) How do I set site search up to include product variation skus?? On https://bassemiers.com/ if you search for 'egg nest' the right result shows up, but if you search for a sku of one of it's variations there are no results (example: 301079). Any suggestions??

@ladymarion I just realized that sometimes the SKU is N/A, so maybe this would be a better XPath to extract the SKUs //*[@class="sku" and text() != "N/A"] - but let's see whether the re-index helps you solve the issue in the first place.

Yes, I would set up ‚content groups‘ per website part and then restrict the script to only search within one content group for now.

Hi! Is there a way to specify an order for query mappings? For example, I'd like specific combinations with the word "dinner" or "dining" (like "dining event" or "dinner theater") to provide one set of results, and anything else (like "dining" or "dinner reservations") to provide another more general set of results. The more generic mapping keeps taking priority, and my more specific mapping gets ignored.

@okicajun_twitter Yes, each account is language dependent, so you need one account per language. Please get in contact via mail@sitesearch360.com to ask for possible discounts.

regarding the search designer: you would need 3 different setups/ss360 config objects, one per language, to connect the language dependent account. And of course you may configure the search box label then accordingly in the corresponding ss360 config object.

@sociallyclimb_twitter Yes, this is tricky.

You may try to delete the mappings and then save the mappings again in different order, this might help.

A more complete solution would be to use a regexp mapping and explicitly exclude the specific term „dining event“ from the more general term „dining“.

I have tested updated regex with exclusions on regex101.com and it should work, but general mapping with exclusions still overrides results from more specific mapping.

I have figured out why it wasn't working. sitesearch360 automatically changed my regex \W to lower case, breaking the regex. That's a serious limitation if regular expressions that have upper case operators won't work.

Hi @JVankat Our crawler started indexing out staging environment again. I can't remember how we handled this before, but any index with 'https://www.alabamapublichealth.gov/staging/test/' needs to be removed.

@porshajackson yes, please use the same url pattern /staging/test to remove all wrongly indexed pages from the current index.

You may also delete your whole index and index again after adding /staging/test to the blacklisting url patterns.

I'm trying to use the IP Blacklisting feature to prevent having searches that I do on the site from appearing in the logs so I can see what customers are searching for more easily. The problem is that I have a dynamic IP address so it changes all the time and the block is no longer effective, are there are solutions for this?

Hi @troenkrasnow_twitter - you can simply press ctrl+shift+e and the tracking will be disabled, alternatively you can set a ss360-tracking=0 cookie to prevent the tracking.

Hi :) I have a weird problem that occurs once in a while. My queue script calls the API with a DELETE for a URL, we get the message back that the URL was deleted - but it still shows up in the search. If I then manually call the DELETE for the same URL it works. I've compared the URLs and I'm sure that there's nothing like an extra space or something messing it up. Current candidate: https://www.springlane.de/magazin/muerbeteig/ which was sent via script to the API at Jan 11 16:30:03 and is still in the search results. I don't think it's a cache problem bc when I have sent a manual DELETE with other problem URLs the results have changed very quickly.

I'm trying to connect to our Google Analytics with GTM. Despite reading through the documentation and searching this forum, I'm at a loss as how to specify the parameters for "searchBox: {...}". Could someone please give me an example? I want the capture the same search data in GA as I did before using Google custom Search. Thanks.

Hi all! Is there any way to set a default image for result pages that don't have any images on them? I only see a way to set a default image if no obvious one exists by extracting via an XPath identifier, but our logo is a transparent background image. If we could use an absolute image URL that would solve our problem.

Hi @sociallyclimb_twitter - there is a ss360Config.results.placeholderImage setting where you can set an image to be shown for all results without an image. Does that work for you?
