Hello! I'm evaluating Skate as a migration path off of React. You've really outdone yourselves building this thing and embracing the functional composability of React w/ web standards. Seriously, kudos.
The final real blocker for me is server-side rendering. I've seen some issues and discussion around this with really the only POC being running a full on sub-process which spins up Electron; that doesn't seem viable. I'm just dipping into custom elements, and SSR is something I'm very interested in hearing more about. Does anyone have additional thoughts on the subject? Thank you all!

Thanks @bwhitty! In terms of SSR, we haven't spent much more time on it yet. It's mostly drivem by need at the moment. If you have any ideas we're open to collaborating on them. Whst you've seen so far is what we've investigated, though. Curious as to why it's a blocker?

@bwhitty I’m curious why you’re looking to migrate off react?

@treshugart it's a blocker only because SSR is deeply integrated into our current application. anything we use to migrate off I'm just looking for the smoothest transition story, and having to rewrite the app to not use SSR is one more roadblock.
and while smooth transition story is one factor, getting out of the endless front end view framework wars is another factor. that's where my interest in the v1 spec's adoption and this library comes in.
