    I've got a quick question on yadr; when I'm using vim for python with yadr, it puts the pydoc for every function on the top of my editing window.
    I like that, but I simply want it on the bottom of the window: the problem is that I don't know which of the 90 or so bundles is generating that pydoc text.
    Could anybody point me in the right direction on this? Thanks!

    ahh, hmm, looks like I can change that with :splitbelow.
    never mind, then :)

    Hello there - quick question: how do I get rid of [Ruby version info] in the skwp prompt?
    Jonas Groß
    @grossjonas
    you could use another theme or create a new one:
    mkdir ~/.zsh.after
    echo "prompt agnoster" > ~/.zsh.after/prompt.zsh

    Okay, will try it - thanks!

    Guys, my gems (which aren't mentioned on the gemfile) aren't installing for some reason. Can't install Rails, Foreman, etc.
    Is this because of a symlinked .gemrc?

    hi everyone
    how do i properly configure these dotfiles to be mine
    like agnoster for the default of zsh

    @donato
    This took me a while, but I think the best way is to have a personal dotfiles repo, which contains three folders
    .zsh.before, .zsh.after, and the other one, i forget it's name
    then link those into ~
    anything in these folders will get sourced on startup

    Fixed the issue, it was a rbenv misconfiguration. I had Xcode installed, yet still needed to install xcode-command-line-tools. Had to nuke my installed ruby through rbenv and do a fresh install for it to work properly. Hope this helps others who get stuck! :smile:

    I'm curious to know the startup time Vim you guys are getting with Vim. Running /usr/bin/time vim exitI get 2.87 real 0.85 user 0.28 sys. I'm not expecting startup to be instant with all those plugins, I'd just like to know if mine should be opening faster. Running on Macbook Pro 2.4ghz i5, 16gb ram. It's also a lot slower when opened for the first time after a computer restart.

    Donato Borrello
    @donato
    I don't think yadr works very well in linux personally

    Hey guys, check this out https://github.com/pearl-core/pearl . dotfiles can be treated as packages that can be easily shared and installed. It works for both linux and mac. Give it a try!

    Access to zsh broke after upgrading Mac OS to Sierra - with error messages like this: /Users/xxx/.zprofile:61: failed to load modulezsh/parameter': dlopen(/usr/lib/zsh/5.0.8/zsh/parameter.so, 9): image not found`. This is because /usr/lib/zsh contains only 5.2, no longer 5.0.8. Is there a simple way to update those paths?
    Salvatore Loguercio
    @salvatoreloguercio
    Fixed - just copied over /bin/zsh (5.2) to /usr/local/bin/zsh (was 5.0.8).
