    Hi all, this is a Gitter room
    It's a developer-ish type of chat room where developers can pose questions related to specific issues/programs

    @brentkaplan
    Sweet. You know, this reminds me of Slack a bit... You ever heard of Slack?
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    Yeah it's like a slack clone tied a bit closer to GitHub
    I'm updating the site for the abai presentation
    I think this could be a useful medium for novices with certain questions to ask
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan

    Sounds great!

    @miyamot0
    Side note-- did you think the other members of the symposia would like their resources hosted on my site?
    I'd be more than happy to carve out a section that clearly indicates that the resources were part of an ABAI symposia
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan
    Good question. They might. I think that's a good question to ask the group. It might depend on if people have their own means or if people just have this stuff floating around their computer and want to make it more structured. In the latter case, I'd say that would be a great idea.

    I'm putting my powerpoint presentation into a series of short video tutorials
    which I'll host on the site
    so it might be nice to keep a good deal of the content in one spot
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    side note: did you ever use any youtube tutorials to learn programming?
    i used a ton way back when, kinda considering make 1-2 for behavior analysis type stuff (e.g., charting, templating, etc.)
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan
    I think that's a great idea. The short video tutorials thing is really nice. I'd do it but I don't know if I'll have the time to make them before ABAI lol. At the very least, depending on how much I deviate from the presentation, I could make my presentation into a video (no audio, just a slideshow).
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    I was just planning to do it for mine for now, only as a test
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan
    Na, not really. Only recently did I watch some of Hadley Wickham's videos. Super informative. That too would be a great idea. Are you thinking kind of like videos for first time behavior analysts?
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    I think video Tut's for certain complex tasks
    App Dev and programming will be one, but setting up plots and basic spreadsheet operations are worthwhile too
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan
    Right. I was thinking like how to set up in excel a template for multiple baseline designs and stuff
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    yeah
    I do a short 2-3 class spread for excel in the clinical aba program here
    I think I might just turn that into a series of 5-10 minute youtube videos
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan
    I feel like you'd get so much foot traffic with that. Especially if it was posted to the Students of ABA group on Facebook or something.
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    I'm going to see how the app one goes, if its not that much work (and I can re-use with lectures) I may commit to 2-3 more
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    I launched an initial batch of training videos
    this is going to be a bigger project than i thought, but i think im committed to it now
    under tutorials
    pretty sure that's going to be a deliverable for my presentation, since it'll be a spoon-fed tutorial for making something clinically-relevant with mobile technology
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan
    Just checked it out.
    Dude. Looks awesome!
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    Its actually not as bad as I thought once the software is set up
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan
    I'd imagine that a big part is making the tutorial. I'd f it up several times for sure.
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    two of the videos had to get redone because of cat issues
    haha
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan
    lolol
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    hey did we ever settle on a time to talk?
    did we say this week or the next?
    Brent Kaplan
    @brentkaplan
    I think we said May 1st 3pm est
    Shawn Gilroy
    @miyamot0
    perfect

    Hi there. Great tutorials! I have a specific question about the small n stats online tutorials for single-case charting. Its in regard to #019: subplots and multiple baselines 2. Its about creating a multiple baseline by moving all the charts into a single chart in a new tab (as was done in this tutorial). I have a load of data points so when I try to put all the charts together into a single chart, all the data points squash up together and it gets really messy. I cant widen the boarder of the original first chart that all the other charts go in to. Are there any solutions or alternatives that you could suggest?
