I tried installing the Kafka docker container.
When checking logs via: "docker exec openbmp_kafka tail -f /var/log/*.log"
Got this result:
tail: can't open '/var/log/boot.log': No such file or directory
tail: can't open '/var/log/cloud-init.log': No such file or directory
tail: can't open '/var/log/cloud-init-output.log': No such file or directory
tail: can't open '/var/log/dracut.log': No such file or directory
tail: can't open '/var/log/yum.log': No such file or directory
tail: no files"
And this command: "docker logs openbmp_kafka" gives the following result,
"rsyslogd: imklog: cannot open kernel log (/proc/kmsg): Operation not permitted.
rsyslogd: activation of module imklog.so failed [v8.31.0 try http://www.rsyslog.com/e/2145 ]"
Why am I not able to check the logs? Please help! :)
@TusharRao1_twitter you can use my docker-compose file for this SNAS/docker#24
am also getting the same error "psql: FATAL: password authentication failed for user "openbmp""
even if I use your docer-compose file. any idea how to resolve it ?
I have several questions regarding SNAS openBMP server capabilities.
I've downloaded and installed AIO and UI dockers on Centos7 and found out that only ipv4 unicast and ipv6 unicast prefixes are being represented in UI but VPNv4 and VPNV6 prefixes are not represented.
After digging a bit more, I could confirm via wireshark that BGP peers are sending VPNv4 NLRI data towards BMP collector. Also I could connect to mariaDB on AIO container and confirmed that it includes entries in l3vpn table but in UI still no representation.
Can you please assist and respond if it's an expected behavior and current UI version doesn't support it?
How can i make it representable in UI - any existing workaround?
All the Analysis options also don't present any data - don't know if it's expected as well.
Appreciate your assistance
