    looks like i solved it , move the docker to centos 7 ver 2003 , gave it 40 GIG RAM/500 GIG HD / 8 CPU
    later encountered a lot of crap ...

    Hi @edgarLip_gitlab . could you share command of docker "openbmp_psql container "? i am facing "ERROR: Failed to connect to Kafka at kafka.domain, check the docker run -e KAFKA_FQDN= value".

    Hi @netyook If all your containers are on the same machine, just assign KAFKA_FQDN=localhost or KAFKA_FQDN=172.17.0.1(docker0 IP address from ifconfig)

    @netyook
    Yes. i got it. I should have set "/var/openbmp/config/obmp-psql.yml" as well. Thanks.
    I finally got graph on grafana. but.... data is based on GMT. I changed container's timezone to KST(GMT+9). but data is still GMT. Does anyone solve this problem..?
    I did change "collector, kafka, postgres" container's timezone with TZ in enviroment.

    @edgarLip_gitlab
    @netyook - i used it like so ...
    -e KAFKA_FQDN=openbmp_kafka \
    if u like i can also share a document that will include all the commands that i changed in order to activate the lab.
    (need to create it = )

    I am getting the following error, any one faced this issue and how to remediate it?
    2020-10-08T01:58:45.135794 | WARN | runServer | Reached max number of threads, cannot accept new BMP connections at this time.

    @jjayanthi - i think this is a resources issue with your environment , try to add more resources RAM/CPU/HD ... and update ...

    Hello
    I have several questions regarding SNAS openBMP server capabilities.
    I've downloaded and installed AIO and UI dockers on Centos7 and found out that only ipv4 unicast and ipv6 unicast prefixes are being represented in UI but VPNv4 and VPNV6 prefixes are not represented.

    After digging a bit more, I could confirm via wireshark that BGP peers are sending VPNv4 NLRI data towards BMP collector. Also I could connect to mariaDB on AIO container and confirmed that it includes entries in l3vpn table but in UI still no representation.

    Can you please assist and respond if it's an expected behavior and current UI version doesn't support it?
    How can i make it representable in UI - any existing workaround?
    All the Analysis options also don't present any data - don't know if it's expected as well.
    Appreciate your assistance

    @voland84_gitlab - this project is not updated any more - look at the commits - last one 3 year ago. also note that most of the effort of this project was put ( afaik ) in the option of the collector+kafka+psql + grafana - so may be u can try to setup it - and it will work there ( not sure )

    @voland84_gitlab
    @edgarLip_gitlab you mean to install dockers separate for each building block and not to use AIO docker ?
    So what alternate option can i use for openBMP collector? any other openSource that is updated and can be deployed with dockers as it's done in this project?
    Interesting as in demo snapshots of SNAS i could see a lot of developed functionalities including VPNv4 prefixes which i wanted to see but it's not there in fact. Maybe i missed some point here.

    Can you point me the github repo for openbmp/ui
    edgar
    @edgarLip_gitlab
    @voland84_gitlab - yes , i recommand the follwing path 1. collector 2.kafka 3.psql 4.grafana ... please tell me if u need more details - i have created a manual not long ago.
    @morthasrinivas -

    @voland84_gitlab
    @edgarLip_gitlab thanks for response. Yes please, if will be great if you can provide me the manual so i can follow it in my openBMP deployment. So with this approach i will be able to see VPN prefixes as well?

    How to get Adj-Rib-Out on the archived UI or on Grafana? is there any way to get it from the DB directly?
    edgar
    @edgarLip_gitlab
    @voland84_gitlab - i am getting it ready - will send it today
    @voland84_gitlab - here it is
    good luck ...

    @voland84_gitlab
    @edgarLip_gitlab thanks for providing this manual.
    I will take a look and deploy according to it.

    @TimEvens Hello Tim. I have noticed that a few BMP containers were updated in the last few weeks. I was supposed to test BMP deployment, but I see that the openbmp/kafka and openmp/ui containers are removed from the docker hub. How do I use the new updated containers? Please Help!
