@yeonhoo
Hello! I hope you are starting a great week :smile:
Ben Fradet
@BenFradet
hey Yun, actually the intern is starting tomorrow
so I'm going to sketch out the milestone today
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
While I was looking at the source code, I noticed the scalaz library is being used,
I would like to know in advance what are the libraries that I should study in order to execute the tasks?
Hi Ben!, Okay!
Ben Fradet
@BenFradet
cats, cats-effect and circe mostly
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
Checked!
Ben Fradet
@BenFradet
circe won't be useful for this project, but will be for the following ones
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
:+1:
feel free to pick an issue and let us know you are working on it
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
Hi Ben, great!
I will check and talk you later :smile:
Ben Fradet
@BenFradet
@three will be working on the milestone
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
I just saw that @three has fixed those two marked as "good first issue"
I'm thinking about taking "Switch from Scalaz to catz" although I'm not familiar with those libraries yet.
how long time am I supposed to take or do you suggest me to take other?
Eric Roberts
@three
@yeonhoo If you want to take switching from scalaz to catz I can start working on the other stuff.
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
@three, Ok thank you!
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
I'm using intellij idea, build.sbt says cannot resolve BuildSettings and Dependencies. I know those objects are in project directory but, intellij can't find those, any idea?
Ben Fradet
@BenFradet
mmh I don't use idea sorry
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
I'm little confused with git, I've merged (my mistake) instead of rebase on the very latest upstream's commit, but I should have done rebase.
In this situation can I just rebase again upstream or does it envolve some more things?
if I checkout the previous local commit before merging, I would roll back any changes I've made before merging... is there any quick command that does that?
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
I think what I have to do is to move HEAD pointer to the previous one while keeping the my working area... and then rebase on the lastest version of upstream
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
Hello people, I hope you are starting a great week
Could anyone recommend me a good cats material?
Ben Fradet
@BenFradet
hey Yun
I was on holidays, sorry I couldn't get back to your earlier
regarding cats material, their official doc is a great place to start: https://typelevel.org/cats
Yeonhoo
@yeonhoo
Oh thank you Ben, I was asking because there are so many materials
I hope you have enjoyed your holidays!
Ben Fradet
@BenFradet
yup it was good thanks :smile:
