    ah hm, maybe it is an error in how the event listener is attached to the 'Send' arrow
    @ewingson if you send a message again, does it appear three times again?
    and then if you refresh the page, and send another message, does it appear one or three times?

    everything okay, its unique, also after refresh but tested only one direction yet I' m doing it between solidweb and solid.community

    the last log in solid_access.log is from 08:59 GMT+02 195.54.160.21 - - [25/Aug/2020:08:59:10 +0200] "\x16\x03\x01\x00\xEE\x01\x00\x00\xEA\x03\x03|\xA8\xB3\x1FYkr\xAAL\xE1!\xE0\xF7A\xAB\xB9\x10!\xC51\xFF]QjB;\x80\xD6ai\xFB\x06 \xF7\xA0\xE5\xE8\x19c\xD7\xE3}\xDEO\xD6\xDE\x09\xFC4B" 400 166 "-" "-"

    that's pretty hard to read :)

    the information I can gather from the time of the log is that you were NOT blocked

    maybe its just a local problem with the sensitivity of my mouse but I' m not sure
    Matthias Evering
    @ewingson
    but we are kindof folks enough to test that out (local or bug...)
    Matthias Evering
    @ewingson
    using the enter button instead of mouse seems fine (that supports the event-listener-theory)

    Is this a custom app or is it the one being used in Mashlib?
    Matthias Evering
    @ewingson
    it' s the chat-with-me-button
    so mashlib
    hmm, could anyone reproduce the double participants/ double messages ?
    Michiel de Jong
    @michielbdejong
    @scenaristeur just looking at https://scenaristeur.github.io/solid-vue-panes/#/chat, awesome! It now uses the exact same format as https://github.com/solid/chat-pane right?
    We should add a display of the chat invites that the 'Chat with me' button sends.
    Matthias Evering
    @ewingson
    I assume everything with the new button is working fine, so the prob was at my site, hm ??
    Michiel de Jong
    @michielbdejong
    i think nobody else saw the triple posting so far
    there are some issues in https://gitter.im/solid/solidos
    jaxoncreed
    @jaxoncreed
    Hey @ewingson I’d love to know more about the app you’re working on. Would you be willing to do a quick chat?
    Matthias Evering
    @ewingson
    @jaxoncreed besides keeping https://solidweb.org actual I don't do much. pinged you private and sure would hop on a line and learn more about contributing useful code. @Mitzi-Laszlo already warned me that even keeping a production site running means hard work ;-)
    ^ Here’s the long chat shape!
    David
    @scenaristeur
    @jaxoncreed thxs for the presentation of shaperepo 👍. Can the .shex file be accessed directly so i can load it in a form generator like https://scenaristeur.github.io/solid-vue-panes/editor ?
    jaxoncreed
    @jaxoncreed
    @scenaristeur Yep! If you just want to copy it, click “ShexC view” on the UI. If you want to build a bot that fetches it, ping the webpage with Accept: text/shex you can get the raw shex. For example curl --location --request GET 'https://shaperepo.com/shapes?id=https%3A%2F%2Fshaperepo.com%2Fschemas%2FlongChat' \ --header 'Accept: text/shex'
    By the way, if you want it in ShexJ (JSON-LD) just provide Accept: application/json
    David
    @scenaristeur
    @jaxoncreed do you know how to add the "Acccpet" param to "window.shexLoader.load([shape_url], [], [], []).then(loaded => {..." ?
    Michiel de Jong
    @michielbdejong
    Not sure about shex loader, but from the browser console you could fetch(url, { headers: { Accept: 'text/shex' } });

    Hey Folks. I am interested in end-to-end encrypted chat in solid. Is there any attempts to create specification for it?
    Michiel de Jong
    @michielbdejong
    hi @chesnokovilya not that i'm aware of, but let's brainstorm about it bit!
    Would you use WebCrypto with asymmetric encryption? How would you generate and store the keys?
    The advantage over WebRTC would be the delayed delivery which Solid chat offers, right?
    There must be some existing thing we can reuse.
    Ilya Chesnokov
    @chesnokovilya
    I am thinking about using nacl for key generation/encryption operations https://tweetnacl.js.org/ It is modern and reputable crypto lib.
    Probably chat could use WebRTC underhood as Threema do.
    Ilya Chesnokov
    @chesnokovilya
    Maybe one could element https://github.com/vector-im/element-web but I have not seen security review.
    Jules Cole
    @Julian-Cole
    I'm going to re-look at the Solidarity chat over the next few months.
    Jules Cole
    @Julian-Cole
    I've been thinking about an Arduino based home server that runs a Solid chat or a chat running on a third party server that would augment a Solid based chat.
    Jules Cole
    @Julian-Cole
    The Arduino chat would be more of a fun thing.
    Tim Berners-Lee
    @timbl
    Have you looked at Raspbery Pi?
    I have an arduino http server in the cellar for read-only sensor data. The arduino is quite a simple thing. Raspbery Pi is more poerul, runs debian, can also be used for gadgets … perfect for a pod in some ways
    Jules Cole
    @Julian-Cole
    Yeah - I think the Raspberry Pi 3 A+ is in the price ballpark I was thinking and it has considerably more "grunt" than the Arduino.

    Anyone could share git link for chat app automation using cypress.
    I am trying to automate chat application using pubnub. Any help is appreciated.
