Oops, wrong URI, corrected now
Daniel B.
@DanielBakas
But that would need to be implemented in a Solid application right? Is that a CLI?
Jeff Zucker
@jeff-zucker
The cli is Solid-Shell, I am finalizing a new version so the docs are not quite up to date. But ./sol delete URI should work from the command line
Jeff Zucker
@jeff-zucker
Clone the repo, I have not updated the npm yet

If its a 500 error, then the server logs are the ones you need to look at — ubless they have been sent by the server in the body of that 500 response.

@DanielBakas Can you try deleting directly https://semantyk.solidcommunity.net/public/archive.ttl using the wheel (under the hood) functionality https://github.com/solid/userguide ?
To see the wheel you must be logged in.
On the server I went to your pod and I don't see a problem.
Daniel B.
@DanielBakas
Sure, let me try
Daniel B.
@DanielBakas
Under the hood worked! Thanks so much guys!!

Thank you @bourgeoa !!!
In other news, Microsoft Graph is a general API for accessing people who use MSFT products and store stuff in the cloud. I doanloaded a tutorial app for msgraph in a place where one could make it into a solid app or a solid facility. https://github.com/solid/msgraph-solid

I get 404 when I try to visit the Microsoft Graph repo on GitHub. Is it private?

Can someone with admin privs over the solid GitHub org make the Microsoft Graph repo public or do I need to apply to join that group somehow?
Wouter
@wkokgit
Does anyone know if there is an option on Gitter to see some metrics of this page? Would like to use some for my research. I only see the amount of people, but things like daily users and amount of messages per day would be helpful already! I would say it's an admin thing.
Jeff Zucker
@jeff-zucker
@wkokgit - does this help https://gitter.im/solid/chat/archives/all ? If not, there is a gitter API which we use in gitter-solid - an app that archives gitter chats into a Solid pod
On that archive page, if you use inspect and copy the HTML, you'll see a number of messages per day
So I'd imagine the same info is available in the API
Jeff Zucker
@jeff-zucker
@wkokgit if you click on the menu next to your picture in the upper right of this chat, do you see an option for "Export Room Data"? That might help
If all else fails, use gitter-solid and count the files that are archived :-)

@timbl just uploaded that, I'm not sure why he made it private. There's nothing immediately usable there yet AFAIK.

Thank you Jeff Zucker

@wkokgit
@jeff-zucker aah I can work with that. I can not see "Export Room Data", but I can use the archives page so that's good enough. Thanks!

@timbl
@nickform:matrix.org My bad — https://github.com/solid/msgraph-solid is now public … the workflow craeting new repos used to ask you questions like that but it is different now.

Thanks. It's interesting just too see the kind of integrations you had in mind between Solid and MS Graph.
Tim Berners-Lee
@timbl
Basivally anything in the list of things which ms-graph gives you acess to would be reasionable to gateway to solid automatcialy
Maybe groups/teams structure import into solid groups?

@solidcommunity coach if me _'m wrong, but after testing this https://bourgeoa.solidcommunity.net/public/tiddlywiki/ my head could pretend that instead of data saving to a prop. server it's saves to a Solid server! 🤔💭Try it @solidcommunity!

We are working on what we think will be a very exciting POC with Travel industry partners: source travel info is stored on a traveler's Solid POD available for reading and writing by the travel vendor supply chain for the duration of the trip. We are currently looking for some additional Angel invetment - if you are interested, please let us know and we can share more details! kai@graphmetrix.com & frederick@graphmetrix.com

@jeff-zucker I’m using the latest version of gitter-solid — thanks for making it work with local files too! I’m getting occasional - quite rare in fact problems whn. it crashes with an eror because it is looking for YYYY containers a the top level of a chat, like in /Users/timbl/Documents/Public/Archive/solid/solidproject.org/ and the quadstore shows the normal triples from a fetc, including the metadata of the request and the response, and the type triples for the cotainer but no contained rsources - no subfolders. When in fact there are three years at this point in the top level folder. Any ideas? Could it be a caching. thing that? The code looks like
    delete folderFetcher.requested[parent.uri]
    var resp = await folderFetcher.load(parent, clone(forcingOptions)) // Force fetch as will have changed

Hello all! The next Women of Solid meetup will be on August 10th and here's the agenda: https://www.womenofsolid.org/meetup.html

Will share the recording after the event :)

Gemma
@gsw2301_twitter
@VirginiaBalseiro do we need to sign up to the meeting to attend? Do you have a sign up link?
Virginia Balseiro
@VirginiaBalseiro
Not necessary @gsw2301_twitter I will share the link in the Women of Solid Gitter room directly. My goal is to keep the meetups themselves a safe space for us only, and share the recordings with the world afterwards. We have a networking session after the talks which won’t be recorded.
If you'd like me to email you the link, just DM me and I will :)
If you haven't joined the Gitter room, you can do so here: https://www.womenofsolid.org/index.html
