@bourgeoa
The server was down for an unknown reason.
pm2 lost the processes and the weekly backup fail too https://github.com/solid/solidcommunity.net/wiki
I just recreate them, but pm2 save fails.
@justinwb @jaxoncreed Can you have a look ?
root@solidcommunity:/usr/local/bin# pm2 save

@ewingson
hmm, no space left on device jumps into my eyes
Alain Bourgeois
@bourgeoa
reboot resolved pm2 save problem, but I also needed to npm cache verify
Alain Bourgeois
@bourgeoa
The issue was with the pm2 logs. Resolved by using pm2 install pm2-logrotate
Matthias Evering
@ewingson
Klasse (great), Alain
Tim Berners-Lee
@timbl
Maybe if we have log rotation turned on in pm2, then we could have a protected pod which has soft links yo the recent server error logs, to make it easierto track down 500 errors..

Hi everyone! It's really great to be back after so long. Hope everyone is doing great!
I'm setting up a hello world on my Express API using solid-client-authn-node
Quick question: Are clientId and clientSecret (session.login method params) supposed to be my solidcommunity.net username and password?
Thank you!
Jeff Zucker
@jeff-zucker
@danielbakas - there are two different ways to login to solidcommunity.net - either with login/username or with a JWT token that has a client-ID and a client-secret. Use one or the other, don't mix and match.
If you want to use the JWT, method you need to first get a token using @inrupt/generate-oidc-token as described in the solid-node-client readme. It will generate a token, you don't need to add anything to it.
Matthias Evering
@ewingson
thanx, @jeff-zucker interesting to read, your clarity always astonishes me...

@danielbakas
Thank you @jeff-zucker!!

@jeff-zucker
Good to see you back Daniel.

@danielbakas
It's great to be back Jeff. I'm really excited to be here with you guys again 😄
Jeff Zucker
@jeff-zucker
If you're still interested in translating, I am almost ready to demo a major new app whose entire interface is in RDF. This means that all text that the user sees occurs somewhere inside a "..."@en literal. So everything can be translated just by adding an "..."@es triple.
Daniel B.
@danielbakas
I would love to! I'll send you an inbox to make it happen
😃
Jeff Zucker
@jeff-zucker
Great! It would be so good to extend the language reach of Solid
Daniel B.
@danielbakas
For anyone who would be interested in translating their app to Spanish, let me know 😃
Also, I'm interested in sharing Solid in Mexico and Latin America. Who should I contact to make this happen? ðŸ˜Ŋ
Jeff Zucker
@jeff-zucker
You can ask in https://gitter.im/solid/team or just tell me what you need and I'll pass it along at the team meeting
Daniel B.
@danielbakas
Awesome! I am thinking about giving a hybrid (remote + onsite) presentation at my university (ITESM) to share the basics and principles of Linked Data, Solid and decentralized development. My goal is to share Tim's vision and all of your work, and invite people to join this beautiful movement. I would love to invite someone to share their thoughts during this keynote (maybe even do a round of questions) and motivate the audience to get involved and share Solid too.
If the team is interested and the keynote goes well, I would like to do more in other universities and institutions to build a bridge between this english-speaking community and the latin-america/spanish-speaking community
I already have members of CEPAL (Latin-America Economic Commission) and INEGI (Mexico's Data & Statistics Institute) interested in the work we all believe in
If any of this is something you believe is worth sharing, please do! And let me know what you and the team think so we can make it happen 😃
Jeff Zucker
@jeff-zucker
That is great news, I'll mention this in the team meeting on Wednesday and see if I can get one of the big names to participate, if not, I can fill in as needed.
Daniel B.
@danielbakas
Sounds amazing! I'll be excited to hear what they think
Thanks Jeff! ðŸĪŠ

Hi, we at SolidLab Flanders are planning on launching an experiment for which we will use the solid community servers. Since we will recruit a few hundred people for this experiment, I wanted to check if this won't cause any trouble with the server. We will recruit respondents in batches of hundred people, who are then asked to create a WebID at https://solidcommunity.net/. Can someone help me with this question? Best, Tim
Matthias Evering
@ewingson
@TimTheys2_twitter best would be to ping @bourgeoa , but as we have 50000+ accounts on solidcommunity.net that should be no problem
Alain Bourgeois
@bourgeoa
@TimTheys2_twitter Can we discuss that in private or have an issue on https://github.com/solid/solidcommunity.net ?

It may depend on what you want to do.
