    would be cool to have an import of a linklist as textfile into markbook ...
    Mitzi László
    @Mitzi-Laszlo
    @ewingson way to get that suggestion integrated would be to submit it as a pull request or an issue. Check out Processes for more info https://github.com/solid/community

    Hi @Mitzi-Laszlo - chatting about Vocab on the chat channel, I’ve started a doc that’s intended to help towards a suggestion output: https://docs.google.com/document/d/127KiHYpqAhbl8M9Le78B-cI9Cg7Qg_ISWoCUUYuJBbQ/edit?usp=sharing

    I was thinking others might have views about how to achieve this in a manner consistent with solid design principles.

    pull request infers a document authored in markdown?
    Mitzi László
    @Mitzi-Laszlo
    A pull request with the specific place where you would like to note the tool you mentioned would be the way to incorporate it into the information about Solid.

    https://github.com/mangini/gdocs2md is another.

    I know it’s not as awesome as convert to RDF, but, process is markdown atm

    @Mitzi-Laszlo - i’m working on some slides that are intended to help the solid community. I started working on how to make some critical distinctions between ‘blockchain’ projects/methods, and solid; and it’s developing - perhaps into something else, or a collection of things that may include it.

    Therein - i’m starting to get into the topic of designing ones own personal graph - which brings about an array of philosphical considerations, that i was thinking might be better considered in terms of a web-science orientated thought experiment - which in-turn, brought about this question as to - where / how - are these sorts of pseudo-academic resources - produced, verified to be ‘fit for purpose’, etc.

    draft slides : https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1TaWE3d78rsmg2zflL1yqjPv-Pnu0YMDy-FVpvxYG1XM/edit?usp=sharing

    note also - a more technical example of the question: https://www.slideshare.net/juantomas/how-to-create-a-personal-knowledge-graph-ibm-meetup-big-data-madrid-2017

    whilst my considerations relate moreover to people attempting to do an opportunity evaluation - that would likely consider various ledger based solutions vs. solid.

    @Mitzi-Laszlo
    @mediaprophet great! this would be the place to share your slides https://github.com/solid/community/blob/master/solid-resources.md

    Hello Everyone,

    We would like to get some suggestions form you for our idea and current status.

    We are 5 masters’ course students of the group at TU Chemnitz and we are developing an application by using Solid. This project will be a creative way to capture potential customers’ attention towards SoLiD Platform to enhance their data privacy.

    A person is able to connect with below-mentioned benefits through our application;

    • People with similar interest
    • Events according to interests
    • Places to enhance the skills of interests
    • Calendar to see all events at once
    • Chat groups with similar interests
    • Notifications if subscribe specific interest

    Business people able to advertise directly to a target group according to specific business This project will enable users to gather the information at one place at the same time, the organizers will find it easy and their marketing cost will be greatly reduced.

    Problems arise while developing;

    • Notification part: Getting notifications automatically if a person allowed their particular interest or hobby as public.
    • Applying solid to Android application
    • Chatting facility

    So what do you think it is a good idea? Do you have any suggestions for developing or general idea?

    Anyone played with draw.io, the open source drawing program?
    Blake Sieders
    @Emigro_BlakeS_twitter
    @timbl I have, and I have found it somewhat frustrating to make diagrams look nice. FYI, draw.io is moving to diagrams.net due to BIOT problems, and I will have to do the same with my own domain. https://www.diagrams.net/blog/move-diagrams-net
    I chose whimsical.com over draw.io

    How does diagram.net compare with Pencil.app ?

    With all the talk around Blockchain technology, Cryptocurrency NFTs, and etc has anyone been working on OWL around the major protocols like BitCoin, Etherium, Ripple/XRP, LightCoin etc? It could help push the WebID-DID concept further. I did some digging and found this https://consensys.github.io/EthOn/EthOn_spec.html What is the community consensus around this topic? I could see developers wanting to get into Solid if they felt they could make Cryptocurrency doing it. Could utilizing these technologies also help push the Confidential Data Storage project further as well?
