@niedakh
I would like to request important features - i am in need of community detection methods
For example teh scan algorihm: https://gist.github.com/enjoylife/2289625

@riomus
@niedakh sparkling-graph/sparkling-graph#2 First implementation is available in SNAPSHOT now
Periklis Vasilopoulos
@perbasilopou
Does this works with all versions of spark?
Roman Bartusiak
@riomus
@perbasilopou as you can see in dependnecies https://github.com/sparkling-graph/sparkling-graph/blob/master/project/Dependencies.scala currently sparkling graph is using spark 2.0.0, but I am not aware of any changes that would broke it for 2.3

@mahmoudhanafy
Hi
Do you support scala 2.12 ?
Roman Bartusiak
@riomus
Hi @mahmoudhanafy, currently project is build for 2.11.7 and 2.10.6, but I think that we can add 2.12 also
Mahmoud Hanafy
@mahmoudhanafy
it will be great if you add it
Roman Bartusiak
@riomus
@mahmoudhanafy you schould be able to use aprkling with scala 2.12 on snapshot
i have also updated spark to latest version
Mahmoud Hanafy
@mahmoudhanafy
thank you :)
Mahmoud Hanafy
@mahmoudhanafy
It's not working
Roman Bartusiak
@riomus
@mahmoudhanafy now it will be working
I have updated codebase to publish artifacts using git versioning, now every commit to the master branch will have separate artifact
fell free to create pull requests if you need something
i near future, whole codebase will be refactored, in order to support different backends like giraph and flink
Mahmoud Hanafy
@mahmoudhanafy
thank you
Mahmoud Hanafy
@mahmoudhanafy
I used it finally. but just a note that the version is not correct. I used this version "de3a38de-SNAPSHOT" to be able to use it. I think this should be modified to "0.0.8-SNAPSHOT"
Roman Bartusiak
@riomus
Just to make you surre, it is not incorrect. I want to configure builds in a reproducable way. That way each snapshot version will be reproducible. What is more, each accepted pull request will be automaticaly builded to snapshot so people will get their features usable, faster.
@mahmoudhanafy what do you think about that approach? it is quite common in other communities, git versioning (that is name of that approach) is becoming more common
Mahmoud Hanafy
@mahmoudhanafy
sounds great idea.
but when will you decide to publish a real version like "0.8" on the snapshot repository?
