Brixton.M2 is released, right? I'm using it, but here still shows M1 as the latest.

Hi! - I've got a question regarding using spring cloud config together with a eureka server. Enabling eureka-first cloud config causes that the configuration-enabled server to fail to register with eureka. Looks like it tries to cancel a registration that the eureka server is not aware of and refuses to just register. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/32889655/understanding-netflix-eureka-leases-service-keeps-unregistering points here, so here i am :)
Actually, I want to debug what is happening - can someone point me to the class that does the register/cancel stuff in the eureka client code?

Are there any samples for working with Eureka, Spring Data Rest and Feign? Specifically with List or Paged Resources.

ok, my problem is that I get this Can not deserialize instance of java.util.ArrayList out of START_OBJECT
In those examples instead of feign it is traverson. correct?

yeah, your right, wasn’t paying attention. Can also be used with restTemplate. Not sure there is a feign example. or if it even works.

Have never tried Feign. Could just me my lack of knowledge but it does not seem to like Spring Data Rest

maybe not so much feign, but our decoder.

yeah, that is specifically what I have tried playing around with. Also tried bringing in the netflix feign jackson dep to see if that would help.
are there any advantages or disadvantages to using eureka aware restTemplate vs feign other than syntax?

nope
in fact, restTemplate is older, more mature. Traverson uses restTemplate
