@spencergibb I tried my app with your svn repo, and it works. Our difference is I use svn: instead of https. Do you have svn: repo you can try?

@spencergibb I found the cause of my problem, but not sure if it's a bug or not. One of the properties in my global application.ymlis spring.profiles: TEST For some reason, just having that property present makes the whole application.yml unavailable. Is there some property concatenation rule that I am missing or is this a bug?

@sprgn that is served by config server?

@spencergibb yes, the one checkedin to trunk of the svn repo.

That shouldn't have any affect, my guess is a yaml parsing error

Any way to see those? I'll try DEBUG logging and see.

@spencergibb no luck. I can't see any errors reported in the logs, no ERROR or WARNING messages. This is the simple applciation.yml that I'm trying to serve.
spring:
  profiles: TEST

That while file is only active in the TEST profile
So you need to ask for that in your resource path

I didn't do it yet
We haven't got Spring Cloud Stream M4 in the bag
I think it is ready now actually
But only happened last night

@dsyer @shakuzen thanks. That was it. The user actually made a mistake in what property to use, and meant to enforce spring.profiles.active across several apps and not to simply provide values for a profile.

Isn't that the one I fixed this morning?
We still don't have any support for RxJava out of the box
maybe you were adding that?

Hi, I'm using spring-cloud-netflix stack and trying to configure a specific timeout for a single application.
The application is registered on Eureka and my edged server is using zuul.
For the application register the team have named it with an hyphen, so it's something like my-application, here the problem starts, when i try to configure any specific property for my-application it's being changed for myApplication. Is there anyway to escape the hyphen sign?
Dave Syer
@dsyer
Feb 04 2016 17:38
I think hyphens are illegal as hostnames
You can only use service ids that are valid in URLs as hostnames
in Feign and Ribbon anyway
You said "eureka" but I think you mean "ribbon"?
Marcos Barbero
@marcosbarbero
Feb 04 2016 17:39
Thanks @dsyer
It's Eureka for the service registration and Ribbon for the balance, am I wrong?

load balancing, yes
