@spencergibb Why doesn't Feign support methods other than POST, PUT, UPDATE, DELETE? It's impossible to create valid rest without HEAD and PATCH at least :(

@spencergibb it just happened again. Saddly I don’t know how to reproduce this behaviour. If I delete the /tmp/config-repo-* folder it just start to work properly again
My configserver has nothing special, it’s a default configuration with just a main class with @EnableConfigServer

@spencergibb: what's the easiest way to programmatically override the IP + Port that a Spring Cloud app registers with Consul?

I've tried registering my own ConsulDiscoveryProperties but that didn't work since it's loaded via spring.factories
Found a hacky way via this:
@Configuration
public class ConsulConfig {

    @Autowired
    private ConsulDiscoveryProperties properties;

    @PostConstruct
    public void init(){
        properties.setIpAddress("foo");
        properties.setHostname("bar");
        properties.setPreferIpAddress(true);
    }
}

Registering a properties object should work

@marcosbarbero I may be having something similar happening with my config server as well. I am not able to figure out the cause or steps to reproduce it either. Next time it happens, can you do a git status in the local repo (as the user the application is running as, of course)? In my case, there are numerous files deleted for no apparent reason. Either restarting the config server application or manually doing a hard reset to head is required to get back to normal operation, for me. I suppose deleting the repo might work as well, as you have done.

@spencergibb doesn't seem to work. No matter what I do (including exclude on @SpringCloudApplication) doesn't let me substitute

@shakuzen thanks for advice, I’ll run git status on local repo once it happen again. :)

Hello! How can I get my LoginForm Spring Security via Zuul and authorized? Use case: (Browser get "/login" ) <-> (Proxy Server) <-> ( App with Spring Security). Is it real? Or I must use Feign/RestTemplate to build header(x-www-form-urlencoded) body(email, password) and send? Who can take me advice?
