Spring Cloud Dataflow is a framework for building a solution that Google Cloud Dataflow provides as a service.
SCDF are the bricks you use to build the house (Google Cloud Dataflow)

@dsyer : Do we have any samples how to setup Eureka server in AWS ?

Don't think so
But there are plenty of people doing that
some of them probably hang out here
Or you could try stackoverflow
A eureka server isn't complicated though, so I doubt if there is much you need to know about AWS.

It's also kind of a loaded question. Are you deploying to an EC2 instance or inside of AWS container services?
And are you running it on an isolated, dedicated EC2 instance, or possibly inside of a Tomcat or other multi-tenant environment.

We are deploying on EC2 instance

The easiest way would just be follow the cloud samples, build a runnable jar, ssh into the server, and run the jar. That will get you "up and running" -- for a production level environment you'd want to have an associated run script, AMI snapshots, etc.

Thank you all :)
We are using dedicateded instance.
@dsyer : so we don't need to code anything specific to amazon in eureka ? I have eureka servers already running on cloud foundry,, can U deploy it without any changes ?
can I deploy it in AWS without any changes ?

@pradeepkusingh see http://cloud.spring.io/spring-cloud-static/spring-cloud.html#_eureka_metadata_for_instances_and_clients, section marked "Using Eureka on AWS"... now note that this won't work as described. The EurekaInstanceConfigBean needs to have its dataCenterInfo set, but if you just use the code in the doc you will be missing the other config from spring-cloud-netflix. Instead I recommend creating a BeanPostProcessor to apply the dataCenterInfo.

@dsyer Hello. I have a small application, which demonstrates Microservice Architecture Pattern using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Docker: https://github.com/sqshq/PiggyMetrics

I think it might be helpful for community. What is the best way to share it? spring.io/blog looks like a closed platform for official posts from team members. Is it correct?
Maybe you can suggest something? Thank you.
