Does spring-cloud-deployer-resource-maven support remote repos with authentication? I see there is support for proxy authentication but can't see anything for repo authentication. I.e. seems to be missing an option like this aether example

I think that feature is missing (and should be added)

I have hacked something to test locally, will open PR and issue once it's all working

Ok, so the hack/fix works (will submit PR later) but when trying to register some OOTB apps (from the docs) I cannot resolve them. The default repo is https://repo.spring.io/libs-snapshot/ but I cannot find any of the apps?

For instance org.springframework.cloud.stream.app:http-log-rabbit:jar:1.0.0.BUILD-SNAPSHOT is not there?

So if you look at the apps in the bulk Kafka file, they are defined as (note the ...stream.app:):

source.syslog=maven://org.springframework.cloud.stream.app:syslog-source-kafka:1.0.0.M1

which doesn't seem to exist. But looking at the tests for spring-cloud-deployer-resource-maven it references org.springframework.cloud.task.app:timestamp-task:jar:exec:1.0.0.BUILD-SNAPSHOT, which does exist: https://repo.spring.io/libs-snapshot/org/springframework/cloud/task/app/

Hmm, ok wait. Seems I have been going in circles. :smile: It does exist, it's just that the org.springframework.cloud.stream.app:http-log-rabbit:1.0.0.BUILD-SNAPSHOT app mentioned here in the docs doesn't exist.
Doh

@dsyer : Do you have any code sample to override ribbon existing behavior of round robin LB ?

Hey Gang, What's the best way to add test configurations to a EurekaClient? I'm trying to turn off eureka discovery when running unit tests(particularly in Jenkins)

profiles? properties?

I'm not currently using profiles. Should I look into that?

Actually if you're using something like @IntegrationTest you could probably just disable with a property

@mbenson Dude, that did it. I just added @IntegrationTest("eureka.client.enabled: false") and It stopped calling it during builds. Thanks!

@spencergibb @dsyer is it possible to ignore and continue if the config bus transport mechanism is unavailable at startup?

no, but the stream team is aware

It's pretty easy to use the test support though
