What you mean by event communication? Web sockets listeners?

I have api-gateway and a rest service that uses SSE for real-time

It looks like a WebSocket to me, I can be wrong anyway hehehe I'll read more about it, anyhow, If it's a WebSocket so Zuul doesn't support it yet, it's planned to version 2.0

When is the release 2.0 of Zuul?

It depends on Netflix, spring cloud just wrapped it

I just read further about SSE and WebSockets, they are similar but not the same. So for now I'm not sure if Zuul already supports it. My bet is no, but it's just a bet hehehe

Hello guys,

I am using Dataflow. I want to register custom app in Eureka. I added @EnableEurekaClient annotation and appropriate configs in application.yml. However when I created stream with custom app, there is no trace that it is trying to connect to Eureka.
Am I missing something?

UPDATE: When I run this application as standalone, it registers itself to it.

i have probs with Feign "No qualifying bean of type" ..although @EnableFeignClients is on and the interfaces of @FeignClient are in ComponentScan (base packages) .. any idea?
spring is searching for a qualifying bean of the interface name i have the FeignClient anotation above.
it looks like the proxy bean is not created or ist searching "for the wrong bean name ?" ..which it does not find ..

It will be helpful if you share some source code

hmm ..its an enterprise source .. but however .. what is the magic here? what could be the cause .. ?
Bean 'IFeignClient' of type [class org.springframework.cloud.netflix.feign.FeignClientFactoryBean] is not eligible for getting processed by all BeanPostProcessors (for example: not eligible for auto-proxying)

I’m sorry @cforce, I’m not so sure about what is causing your issue without seeing any piece of code. Maybe someone else has faced same issue before.

solved it .. someone overwrote the EnableFeingClients base packages cfg itself
no i have the same problems that i can't have tow FeigbClient on the same interface in the same app.. i know this wired.. but we won't a migration step from monolyth to micorservice in the app before exratcting
here is already 'ParentInterface' bean method

springfox knopws complains that it finds a second bean for the same interface having the same MVC anotations
we need to exlcude the FeignClient beans from spring-fox scan..

does anyone here have experience running a multi-node springxd cluster using kafka? I'm having some weird performance problems that I'm trying to track down

hiya, what's the easiest way to get a Feign cleint to relay an OAuth access token to the downstream services?

Hello :-)
When I hit this end point in my Eureka: eureka/apps
i see all my services
i do notice the host for each entry is the eureka service itself, since i am talking to Eureka should that entry not be the actual host of the service
my Rest Client is not able to hit services registered in Eureka, my hystrix fallback is triggered right away, even though I can hit the end points directly
everything registers fine in eureka, but it seems look ups fail
this only happens on run.pivotal.io btw, works fine locally

Sounds like you just screwed up the eureka.instance.hostname

@dsyer it seems that it is already in issues(spring-cloud/spring-cloud-dataflow#153). I suppose it is not implemented yet.

@dsyer I made mistake. That issue is about server, not custom apps.
