Look at the headers in the 403
Who is sending it?

I have a non-spring legacy app that is sending Events as AMQP messages. I can control the content and format of those messages. I need a pointer how to elegantly receive those messages on the Spring Cloud (Bus) side. I like the Cloud Bus approach of mapping the messages to Instances of RemoteApplicationEvents (like Cloud Config Server does) and using @EventHandler annotation. But i need to read the messages off another exchange. I could not google a concrete example on how to do it. I know i can take the lowlevel fallback of receiving the messages in a Sink and parsing them myself. I am looking for a more lightweight approach in my Spring Cloud app.

Ah, i found how cloud bus does it on the receiving side, i think i can use that as a template for my needs

Hello everyone, do you know if it's possible to dynamicaly change a hystrix or ribbon timeout configuration with spring-cloud-config ?
The settings are well changed but the property is not used by the code

Did you hit the refresh endpoint?

Yes
I can see with /env the changes
I'm changing ribbon timeouts on my zuul gateway
No effects on my calls

I have
hystrix.command.solr4-back-searcher.execution.timeout.enabled: false
solr4-back-searcher.ribbon.ReadTimeout: 1
after /refresh
solr4-back-searcher.ribbon.ReadTimeout: 10000
And i still get a timeout instantly

If I pass a program parameter --server.port=8080 and the config server has another port, does the config server win? Seems like it's winning. :(

By default yes.
There's a section in the user guide about how to change the precedence
If a refresh doesn't change your ribbon timeouts we probably should raise a ticket in github to look into it
A simple sample app would help a lot
There is code in ArchaiusAutoConfiguration that clearly reacts to the refresh event
so if it isn't working we need to know why

@dsyer I'll take a look in Archaius and open a ticket if needs be
Thank you for your time
