@dsyer we want to use encryption and decyption features of config server and found it needs he full-strength JCE installed in our JVM. But we don't know how to extract the jce jar files to JDK path when we use the Java buildpack on cloud foundry?

The Java buildpack in CF has had the JCE jars for quite a little by time now
Are you using an old version?

I don't know. I'm sure it's in the release notes
Try it with the latest buildpack

I have consul set up in open shift. My app is also in ose. Every time the app comes down it doesnt de register itself from consul. Consul dashboard still shows the zombie service. When the app comes back up it shows as a new instance.

Thank you. If i am doing a rolling deployment, openshift assigns new ip for the pod everytime it starts . I have 2 instances of the same service registered when actually only one is running. I am using spring cloud Dalston. Can i set something in boostrap.yml that could avaoid this . This is my properties currently cloud:
consul:
host: consul
port: 8500
discovery:
instanceId: ${spring.application.name}:${spring.application.instance_id:${random.value}}
health-check-url: http://cosuldemo-ose-project.ose-server.com/health

spring.cloud.consul.discovery.health-check-critical-timeout. The fact that the old instance is still there is a consul issue, not a spring cloud one, though now we can tell consul to deregister after a certain timeout
