Maybe it will be more simple question to ask but will help me a lot.
By default Eureka is created to work as "Peer Awareness".
Let's say that Eureka instances works on 2 different Servers on ports 8761. This port is usually closed on servers.

Now if I want make these 2 Eureka instances communicate to each other and exchange information about Services which work on their Servers then I need to open port 8761 on each Server and put in configurations:

  • For Eureka on Server 1
    eureka:
    client:
      serviceUrl:
        defaultZone: http[s]://server2address:8761/eureka/
  • For Eureka on Server 2
    eureka:
    client:
      serviceUrl:
        defaultZone: http[s]://server1address:8761/eureka/
