I've added a .conf file to limit the jvm memory usage, however my spring boot apps still exceed it eventually and crash (set limit to 300 MB, but system memory usage goes to 100%, of 500MB). Sometime this week I'll run some of the apps through a memory analyzer i guess in hopes of finding what's using up all the memory. I've really no clue at this point why the Boot apps are gradually using more and more memory...

I do not recall, did you say what you app is doing? What versions?

It's continually, over the course of a few days, using all available memory on the server. The app is running as a service on an aws Linux server. and is using spring boot 2.0.0.M3.

And some spring cloud probably?
Otherwise you wouldn't be asking here

Yes sir.
Atm, until I can run some sort of memory analyzer, I'm thinking the memory usage has something to do with either oauthclient/resourceServer, or hsqldb.

Not sure why you'd say that
You should be able to see the issue locally though if it's that simple
If I were you I'd update to the latest Boot/Cloud bits

Because I've got other apps running that don't use those utilities that haven't crashed yet.
Will do that
