Awesome! I will try to add the “upgrade security” support to the loadbalancer client so both http and ws can be secured. I will also temporarily backport this to the gateway until it can be removed later. Sounds good?

Hello, good day all of you. I am trying implementing hystrix and hystrix dashboard, does not open the circuit even though service is closed. Any clue what might be wrong?
Attaching the image here. Also, I do not see any activity in Thread Pools section of Hystrix Dashboard. https://ibb.co/mjjPZb
I am using Edgware.RELEASE

I can't see anything obviously wrong with the dashboard (apart from the missing thread pools)
What makes you think the circuit should be open?

@dsyer Because the service is closed and fallback has been activated and threshold (20 requests and 50% failed) have reached. Should it not open?

I can only see 2 failures.
I think you need 20 consecutive failures in less than 6 seconds (from memory)
I forget the details

@dsyer Yes I needed 20 in less than 10 seconds and I was assuming 20 seconds. Thank you. But what about the Threads View or Hystrix? How can I debug to see why are they not rendering?

Also, how can I increase the Hystrix Dashboard viewable duration to 12 or 24 hours? As soon as I do with

hystrix.command.default.metrics.rollingStats.timeInMilliseconds: 43200000,

my service stops responding.

I playing with the new version of spring-cloud-config-server and reading here http://cloud.spring.io/spring-cloud-static/Edgware.RELEASE/single/spring-cloud.html#_vault I can notice that I need to configure my config server client services with a valult token the problem I have is that the token I can get with my role-id and secret-id will not last forever. Is there a way to instruct clients to generate the token instead of having a fixed one?

@iferca not yet. There needs to be some integration with the spring-vault project to support more types
