Works for me. There are plenty of samples out there. What are you doing differently?
It can be a bit tricky to find the right trigger for autoconfig if you are using Spring Boot.

Not really a Spring Cloud question though. Maybe try in the Spring Security channel?
What was that about a party?

Hi! I have a quick question regarding /bus/refresh when using spring cloud bus. Let's say I have 20 services with a few instances and I push that refresh, then basically all services will restart their context and are offline for a bit, is that correct? It would be nice to have at least one instance running while the rest refreshes it's configuration, so the application is still able to serve users, or is the refresh usually not a full context restart?

it does not restart the whole context
that's what /restart does

I am getting error "Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: MongoDbFactory" but I see spring-data-mongodb-1.10.8.RELEASE.jar has this class.. any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi Team, Just a quick question aorund refreshScope as if we are using spring boot data source auto configuration. then how can we achieve refreshing these data source and transaction manager beans at runtime like cloud config environment changes?

@JagmohanSharma we're just dealing with a bug regarding that and the hikari DS ;-)

The short answer though is that it's dangerous to refresh those kinds of beans, but using @RefreshScope ought to work.
We don't have many data points. No-one ever complained until recently (the default behaviour in Spring Boot changed in 2.0.0.M7)

@spencergibb Can you please share more information about that as how could we try for using @RefreshScope for such beans?

Also, just read the documentation on @RefreshScope. It's the same for all beans.

Why spring boot mongo apps try to connect to local host when I am providing mongo db hosts details..

I need to configure the RestTemplate used by an Eureka/Discovery client with a custom ClientHttpRequestFactory (one that ignores SSL certificate errors). What is the best way for me to do that?
