@OlgaMaciaszek I tried to summarize the steps I took and created a simple test project/ use case: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53426608/spring-cloud-config-server-monitor-does-not-send-events-to-clients-via-rabbitm

I am currently working on a project using IBM Cloud / Cloud Foundry. We have an Eureka server for discovery. Problem is that the application sets the port to 8080. Another application using Ribbon or Zuul tries to access the application via the route on port 8080 and it results in connection refused.
I have eureka.instance.hostname=${vcap.application.uris[0]:localhost} in application.properties for all applications

Hi Spring-Cloud team. I noticed that yesterday's Greenwich.M3 was released with Feign version 9.7.0: https://github.com/spring-cloud/spring-cloud-openfeign/blob/master/spring-cloud-openfeign-dependencies/pom.xml#L10
Can we expect a next milestone of Greenwich or an SR of Finchley to ship Feign version 10.1.0? Thank you very much.

Pfft, found something regarding my issue, when I downgrade spring boot from 2.1.0.RELEASE to 2.0.6.RELEASE and use Finchley.SR2 instead of Greenwich.M3 it works:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53426608/spring-cloud-config-server-monitor-does-not-send-events-to-clients-via-rabbitm
So 2.1.0.RELEASE doesn't work with Finchley.SR2 and throws exceptions at startup. However using Greenwich.M3 is not the best case either :(

@acidelk gateway uses PathPattern (https://docs.spring.io/spring/docs/current/javadoc-api/org/springframework/web/util/pattern/PathPattern.html) underneath, so the only options that are available are the one from there, so I think you would probably have to duplicate those routes, unless the save endpoint uses a different http method than the other two - in this case you could differentiate using the Method route predicate; enhancing it seems interesting, though - I'm going to refer this issue during team discussion
@dnijssen yes, 2.1.0.RELEASE won't work with Finchley - these are not compatible versions; but are you saying you have an issue when you use 2.1.0.RELEASE with Greenwich.M3 either?
Hello @robachmann - ltm - will add it to backlog; thanks

yes @OlgaMaciaszek there are no refresh events broadcasted via my rabbitmq setup
There are not compatibility issues at startup, but its not working either

ok @dnijssen I think you should create an issue on github if the same setup works for you with Finchley and breaks on Greenwich. Please provide a detailed description and links to the demos in that issue and we will triage it.

Isn't spring-cloud/spring-cloud-config#1197 enough ? Created a demo setup there, if you downgrade the dependencies to 2.0.6 and finchley.SR2 it works like a charm, but with the current versions it does not.
