@EsinDekeli_twitter This is likely caused by an issue with certain Nvidia graphics cards under dual graphics setups on Windows and Qt, the third-party UI toolkit we use. In your Nvidia control panel, either set the Intel integrated graphics as the default, or add a rule for pythonw.exe inside your Anaconda directory to always use the Intel integrated graphics.

sorry, pretty basic question... how do you open the python interpreter from anaconda?

@quiguisola python
(From the Anaconda prompt, if on Windows)

thanks man! one more: do you have a nice link to document how to configure the bat file on windows so that you can easily run scripts just by clicking on them?

If you set .py files to be opened with the python interpreter of your choice (python.exe), it should work, no batch files needed.

it doesnt work on my station, there is some conflict going on... the "open always with" doesnt work and even from the anaconda shell, when i run a script, it opens the "open with" window
should i reinstall my windows?
or repair...

should i reinstall my windows?

Unlikely to be anything that serious, though not impossible. I'm really not sure, sorry; there could be something going on with your settings or your Anaconda installation. You could try asking them or Googling it if you haven't.
