Hi, is it possible to get the graph that Matplotlib generates in Spyder as a window next to the history log in spyder rather than a separate window? Current setting for graphics is automatic.

@zeroonezero010 Yes, that is implemented as the Figure Explorer (Plot viewer) in Spyder 4, which is scheduled for release soon. You can check out the development version on Github, or wait for the next Beta to be released shortly.

Okay - so I will just have to run a conda update spyder periodically for it to check right?
thank you have a good day.

Maybe a couple months still, but Beta 2 will come out sooner which should be reasonably stable, and you can install it right alongside your existing Spyder 3 install in a separate environment. Spyder should notify you automatically whenever there is an update available, but its not a bad idea to check for updates from time to time to be sure.

Does this project use UTF-8, UTF-16, codepoint, or grapheme cluster indexes for lsp ranges?

If this project uses a unit other than UTF-16 could/would you ever conform to the protocol 3.0 and use UTF-16?

I am conducting a survey to inform the debate over what unit ranges should use in the Language Server Protocol.
The debate is occuring in Microsoft/language-server-protocol#376.
