    @callumacrae I just found there tools for various task runners:

    gulp: https://github.com/mahnunchik/gulp-responsive
    Grunt: https://github.com/andismith/grunt-responsive-images
    Webpack: https://github.com/Levelmoney/resize-image-loader

    To be honest, I have not tried any of them yet but maybe this will suit your needs

    however, they're all quite dumb: they'll take an image, then spit out a few images which are percentages of the original iamges
    I'm thinking it's possible to do something a bit cleverer when using webpack purely because we know how the image will be called

    hello all
    good to find this gitter chat room
    quick question, is it possible to load the scripts on an iframe before the scripts of the parent page?
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    not sure it's possible todo without...
    when you have control over the iframe you could probably use
    to kick off the script loading from within the iframe

    @chchrist I've never faced a use case like yours but you could solve your problem by loading your page scripts asynchronously via JavaScript function (e.g. https://github.com/filamentgroup/loadJS) after your iframe has been loaded (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9249680/how-to-check-if-iframe-is-loaded-or-it-has-a-content#answer-10444444):

    document.querySelector('iframe').contentWindow.onload = function() { loadJS('path/to/script.js' )};

    I didn't realise we had a gitter chat :) sometimes I'm very observant :)
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    ja it's not really active though... :D
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    Heh, neither is mine ;)
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    so question is - reanimating newsletter yes/no...
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    I mostly hang out around postcss/postcss
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    I stopped out of time reasons...
    surely automation could be a thing, with changing the format.
    (having no descriptions)
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    Yeah, I mean I don't like manually writing things too much, it's a lot of busywork
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    exactly...
    ja then let's forget about that and wait for ben
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    That's probably the reason I can't keep a blog
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    I love having a perf-tooling newsletter.
    but I didn't/don't have enough time
    but the same goes probably for ben... as the last perf.email was sent a while ago.
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    Yep
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    ja then let's forget about it... and just say welcome. :)

    @ben-eb
    Hi!
    I enjoyed Paris, was a good time meeting everyone
    Oh by the way how was your devrel conference?
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    interesting...
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    Did you learn anything? :)
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    tons of devrel folks from crazy companies (IBM, intel, microsoft, salesforce ... )
    well yeah... devrel "only" goes around two main questions...
    "How do you do it?" (events, content, ... )
    "How do you measure it?"
    :D
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    That's "easy"! :)
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    every company has to find the answers for themselves. But I got a few insights how others do it...
    so was good i think. :)
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    Cool stuff
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    jep. :)
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    By the way we have a lot of issues
    I don't know if you noticed ;)
    Just a time thing to add everything?
    Stefan Judis
    @stefanjudis
    ja time and evaluation...
    reading or watching everything takes time...
    we're not adding everything that comes along
    Ben Briggs
    @ben-eb
    Sure thing
