Is it possible to bring methods from outside of the CloudFormation { } DSL area for use inside? I'm using cfndsl as part of a larger program, and I have some functions I want to use inside of the template area... currently in order to make it work, I'm duplicating the method declaration inside of the DSL area... but it's clunky looking, and violates DRY

Hey, I would like to pass String.IO objects to #eval_file_with_extras, basically adding another type, may be :io https://github.com/stevenjack/cfndsl/blob/master/lib/cfndsl.rb#L66. Currently I'm using tempfile to write a yaml file and read it back again, seems unnecessary heh. I can make a PR...
@flyinbutrs I'm trying to do the same. May be is possible via loading :ruby file?

@stevenjack Hi Steven, I'm looking at CFNDSL. We have done everything in plain CF so far and a colleague recommended CFNDSL. The 3 selling points on GitHub all go towards ugly looking JSON, which in kinda invalid with CF now supporting YAML. Are there any other reasons for using CFNDSL?
I would even argue the following looks much better now with pure CF YAML https://github.com/neillturner/cfndsl_examples/blob/master/Joomla/Joomla!_Multi_AZ.rb#L311
Would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Hey. Is it possible to get access to the "resolved" value of a parameter (after, say, YAML overrides and whatnot) so that I can use it to dynamically calculate the value to pass to a resource? For example, let's say I have an EBS volume whereby the size can be passed as a parameter that is referenced and I wish to calculate the IOPS as a ratio of the volume size, regardless of the value passed to the parameter.
