Hi, I'm trying to use stylelint with postcss-loader in webpack 1.x. Postcss reports all the stylelint errors as warnings. Any idea on how to work around this issue and make postcss report them as errors?
or any idea why stylelint-webpack-plugin makes webpack taking forever to build and rebuild?

Hi there, is there any way to override property-no-unknown rule? seems like if it set to true somewhere else, ignoreProperties doesn't work;
at-rule-no-unknown works as expected though

figured that out: any custom rules in config must followrules key

The Getting Started guide says that stylelint should work out of the box, with default rules/config, but when I run it from the CLI on a file, it says "Error: No configuration provided for <my file>". Are the docs wrong, or have I misunderstood? (I installed using "npm -g install postcss stylelint" btw)
@jitendravyas use for GIT. when this a newline at the end of source, code appended to the end of the file will not be recognized by GIT as a modification to the last line of the original code.

Anyone here have experience working on rules? Is there a way to reparse a block of css? I was looking at postcss-selector-parser but I think that's not what I want.

Hi all, I'm looking at stylelint-selector-bem-pattern and I'm totally unsure how to read the componentSelectorsinitial and combined, no idea how the two are used for
can anybody give me a hint here? even the use of a different plugin would help :)

Is there a rule for putting a newline above a nested ruleset (like in SCSS)?
Where is a good gitter channel to ask sass questions?

Would any stylelint core contributors like to participate in Google Code-in as a mentor? http://coala.io is applying, with a number of our upstream linters (e.g. stylelint) mentoring a few tasks each. All you need to do is nominate a few bugs that you believe a talented high school student could do in a 3-7 days, and nominate to mentor them if they run into trouble or need to ask questions, and commit to do code review with 36 hrs of them submitting their PR . coala GCI mentor signup form

@jayvdb I would like to contribute:)

@jayvdb
you are not a core contributor to stylelint

@CAYdenberg
I am a core contributor and I just filled out the form.
Should I find some bugs for you now or wait until the application is succssful?

I'll check in an hour, and if successful you can put them directly into the system
