I think the best is to wait some stable release for the 8.xx version ...
I found a strange thing, and maybe a security issue. A user with status desactivate (So he cant login ?) can to a forgot password, and receive the mail to reset his password
Is that normal ?
pgorod
@pgorod
After resetting the password, can he login? Does it change the "deactivated" status? If so, that is a problem. If not, then I wouldn't worry too much.
holdusback
@holdusback
No no he cant login, but its strange that the reset password code fire, even if the user is desactivated
pgorod
@pgorod
Maybe it's not totally senseless. I don't know, there could be cases. Suppose your deactivation is temporary, due to your password being compromised you ask your admin to deactivate you. Then you reset the password and only then you want it re-activated.
I'm just imagining things, but who knows.
As long as it's not a compromise to security, I would leave it like it is.

Hi, I being writing some tests and sometimes i want the records keep alive. I set the cleanupStrategy to be == 'refresh' and what it tries to do is to truncate all table of my database. I do not want to do that, I will want to specify which table needs to be truncated or specify which records must be deleted at tearDown() method. Did u do something like that?

@processflowca
Hello -- does anyone have issues connecting to MS Office365 for an account that has
Modern Authentication enabled?
Process Flow Consulting
@processflowca
further to this issue - we disabled modern authentication and still had an authentication error connecting to the account

Does anyone had nearly all their email adress deleted after running the utf8 encoding tool from 7.12.3 ?
They are in the database but deleted from the entry detail view... got to rollback on my production env
holdusback
@holdusback
Will compare the SQL file to investigate... Had to dump the database and put a backup SQL file
All email adresse are back
holdusback
@holdusback
Okay so I dont know why but the encoding script updated the database in "email_addr_bean_rel" field deleted to 1.... So it marked a lot of email address as deleted...

Hi @holdusback , probably same as this one: salesagility/SuiteCRM#8989. I believe @JanSiero was working in a proposal, but it seems more complicated than expected

Has anyone else ever noticed that if you merge two duplicate records that the "Date Created" doesn't always end up as the oldest of the two "date_created" values? I feel like this is a bug, but wanted to get feedback to see if other people feel this is beneficial. If so, shouldn't the value be shown on the merge screen so you can at least see which value it's going to be come?

Hi, how are? I'm trying to add an acceptante test to create a record from a quickcreate, but i'm stuck. Is there a any example? I was looking for, but I did not found any :(

Anybody doing extensive work on API stuff should probably aim for SuiteCRM 8, the new GraphQL API

Can you use the API to create a custom front-end and use suiteCRM only as a back-end?

This is huge, finally !

Sorry to be a bit grumpy here, but on github I do not see that anything that the community provides is welcomed at all. Why should I put time in in this one.
