    @hackerwins thanks for the update. We ended up switching to froala. It still has a few issues but we are working towards correcting them. Overall it's nice ux. We will try summernote again when lite is released.

    Hello.. Freshman with everything from javascript, to node, electron and summernote here... I am trying to get summernote working with electron for my desktop app.. Is this possible?
    I managed to install summernote, but it still gives me error when trying to use a function
    $('.click2edit').summernote({ focus: true }); // ......summernote is not a function
    Youngteac Hong
    @hackerwins
    I don't know about electron but It's better to check summernote.js is included on your page.
    jakobmillah
    @jakobmillah
    I got summernote working when running in visual studio debug mode, but ye. It is included
    <script src="./Scripts/summernote.js"></script>
    jakobmillah
    @jakobmillah
    I had summernote.min.js included before though. Now when I changed to summernote.js, I get this error at first line inside summernote.js "Uncaught ReferenceError: define is not defined"
    Youngteac Hong
    @hackerwins
    Which version of summernote did you use?
    Outsider
    @outsideris
    electron use commonjs to load libraries.
    did you turn off node-integration?
    jakobmillah
    @jakobmillah
    I got it working! Probably was a mismatch between my older summernote.js file and the one I installed from git
    What I did was to overwrite the one in my script folder with the one I installed from git

    @hackerwins
    Cheers~

    I get issues with //netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.3.0/css/font-awesome.css this though.. :/ Can't run it locally
    Youngteac Hong
    @hackerwins
    You can download css and load it locally.
    jakobmillah
    @jakobmillah
    Ye that worked out! I am kinda lost in the past when it comes to web development... During the days where a css file was a css file and not an entire project ;)

    http://imgur.com/UroINfE @hackerwins do you know why this might occur?
    • might*
    its the modal-backdrop class that his above everything
    Youngteac Hong
    @hackerwins
    It's related with z-index.
    jakobmillah
    @jakobmillah
    ohhh, that's the reason then. I put z-index on the window and the buttons on top right
    Thanks

    guys, it seems not possible to unset a color or background-color previously set (except doing the remove all styles). I mean you can always set back the background-color to white, but I'd have preferred something to set it to initial/inherit or whatever it was before, even remove that style property

    @hackerwins ^ I will try to look in a few days, but would be happy to know if it's normal that the "reset to default" or "tranparent" button on the color dropdown don't remove the style

    Also I was trying to merge https://github.com/summernote/summernote/pull/1311/files but I see it was refactored (it's good), so I have found the corresponding files for .2 Table.js and .3 Editor.js. But not .1 Renderer.js and .4 Popover.js. Other popovers are in bs3/module, so Popover.js should TableDialog.js and Renderer.js should be TablePopover.js?

    other problem guys, when pasting some content with position absolute/fixed, it's completely out of the editor of course, any idea for that?

    @ghost~54ce8f4bdb8155e6700f545b
    hmm nvm, but other thing, I think it's possible to format the code in codemirror, it would be great

    will definitely need to use font-family guys
    <font face="Arial"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; vertical-align: baseline;
    white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: transparent;">foo bar</span></font>
    you can end up with this after pasting content and putting a font on it after
