How can I make a square wave?

The unit generator for a square wave is either
Pulse or LFPulse
Pulse is band-limited, LFPulse is not
So, e.g.
SynthDef(\square, { var sig = Pulse.ar(440); Out.ar(0, sig) }); Synth(\square);

Ah, that drove home the band-limited idea. I was looking at plots for Pulse and getting confused. LFPulse to the rescue. Thanks :)

There are a couple LF_ ugens that represent non-band-limited versions

don't assume that it will sound better if its more square. a perfect square wave means that the speaker cone has to move infinitely fast from one position to the other. for LFOs a perfect square is better. I'm not talking about the band (RIP) though they knew a thing or two about shredding speaker cones.
