well you need a secret in order to validate signature ..

this one is stored in swarmpit DB

To use swarmpit API go to settings section and generate API token.

hi everyone. How can I uninstall swarmpit (I installed it using the docker command provided on the website)? I am trying to stop and remove the containers but they are being restarted.. I also changed the restartpolicy to no but it doesn't work... :/

around the subject of the takeover of Docker Enterprise by Mirantis. Because of issues like this (docker/swarm#2965) I have some concerns about the future from Docker Swarm and with it also Swarmpit. Both products are awesome and helped me to implement an easy platform.
So how do you think from the "Swarmpit" point of view about the future?
Do you have some further information?

@matthiasbaldi Docker Swarm is OS project so even if the Docker stops development, support can live within the community. We choose this orchestrator because it's easy to learn and nearly all features can be understood by average developer in a full day class. We believe that in the ERA of rapid development, prototyping, startups such orchestrator is essential. It's still second largest on market and Docker will be stupid to shut it down entirely. And if they do so, new one following the same goal (simplicity) will find the way to shine. We run our entire infrastructure (multiple customers) on Swarm and if there is any transition regarding orchestrator we're going to support it as well.

@ericbarber01_twitter seems like some sort of dns configuration issue, there is nothing you can do about it in swarmpit itself, nodes have to be configured properly

any idea how to change the time zone in swarmpit? I passed -e TZ='America/New_York' but no luck. Dashboard still shows UTC.

You have to connect node via swarm api .. swarmpit has not such feature yet. To start agent just deploy agent service globally .. see swarmpit stack .. @francis2211

@francis2211 as Pavel explained: You only have to add the node to your swarm cluster, then Swarmpit should automatically deploy the agent.
As example for a global agent service:

Hi All,

Are there any memory/resource leak issues known for AWS ECR registry support and/or autoredeploy? It might be a coincidence, but since I added a service in a private AWS ECR registry with autoredeploy I've had memory issues with the swarmpit container. I've just restarted the swarmpit container today (actually, had to restart manager node as it also used up all system threads, so I couldn't ssh in) and am monitoring for a few hours and then will be turning off the autoredeploy; but was just curious if others had seen this?

hmmm, initial indications after turning off the autodeploy one and a half hours ago is that memory usage on the node has stablised again. Indeed the memory usage looks to be slowly dropping (to potentially free resources from the first four hours but at a much slower rate).

Is it possible to have a configuration with docker-compose.yml to setup couchdb easily ?
And there is a diff between couchdb 2.3.0 and 3.0.0 ?

Hi, I am running v1.8 and having trouble with compose file version 3.3. This swarmpit/swarmpit#376 suggests that 3.3 should work. Is this true for the 1.8. release?

In the compose file deploy.placement.preferences is ignored. docker stack deploy with the same file works fine
