    I never saw anything related to this config. What is it for ?

    please add these 3 lines into that file
    it's to make Wordpress and MySQL Galera stable together
    a network engineer told us that the default network config not handle ARP well
    and this gc threshold setting would help

    just curious how to add this line - net.ipv4.neigh.default.gc_thresh1 = 30000 into the node that will be created

    I am not sure, I think it depends on your provider...some providers allow to add a custom script, which is run at time of creation

    I think the changed sysctl.conf needs reboot or 'sysctl -p' to apply the changes.
