@srajangarg, you can't do

`sudo`

in travis. Instead you can add it as an addon

@srajangarg, your proposal link is out of date

@badcoderparashar, in the timeline, saying that you will work on the project is not enough, it should indicate what you will be working on. For example, work on a SymEngineConverter similar to SymPy Converter, etc.

I really don't know about the vision of the polynomial class for SymEngine in future. I was studying about the fast algorithms for polynomial manipulation the past three weeks. Hence, majority of my proposal deals with polynomials with integer and rational coefficients. What do you suggest can be done now, regarding my proposal? And what functionality do you expect from a full fledged polynomial class from SymEngine?

What kind of things can be implemented for polynomials with symbolic coefficients?

Most of the above algorithms, but with the usual speed. No optimization.

I can propose to additionaly work on the

`UnivariatePolynomial`

class which deals with the symbolic coefficients, alongside my original proposal
I will also have to quickly research into the list of functions for symbolic coefficients.

@isuruf - just to clarify, you'd like to see this *before* the project even starts, or just in the proposal?

It will ease the task and also the code that I have commented in symengine/SymEngine.jl#16 will then be apt for our needs
