Hey, I just started looking into systemjs and jspm, excuse me if my question sounds lame. I am working on converting my legacy app to use the ES6 module system, and thought it would be good to go with webpack for that. Now I am running more and more into problems when not having the window object in modules and my old code exposes quite some global functions that get invoked in script-tags. Since i cannot refactor this all at once i was wondering what would be a good solution to get it to work with a module system. Do you think Systemjs and jspm would be a good alternative? Can systemjs, jspm and webpack be used in conjunction or are they solving the same problem?

@janusch yes SystemJs is a webpack alternative
using SystemJS to bundle will allow bundling global modules along with other module formats and es6

@guybedford thank you very much for the reply! I find it really difficult to decide on a module solution. I really like that that systemjs is the most spec compliant. On the other hand I am not sure if it solves other build related tasks like minifying and css/image optimisations that need to get solved in one way or the other.
@guybedford With systemjs is it possible to add global functions to the window object, because that is a concrete problem i am struggling with in webpack?
