@guybedford I made that hot reloading solution this evening. Works beautifully with my little react app so far. I will have to test it with more codebases to be sure, but looks pretty good so far. It is broken into two pieces: https://www.npmjs.com/package/chokidar-socket-emitter and https://github.com/capaj/jspm-hot-reloader
couple them together and you should get a hot module reloading like no one else on this planet, even Dan Abramov might get jealous :D
@guybedford https://github.com/capaj/jspm-hot-reloader/blob/master/jspm-hot-reloader.js if you could take a peek and tell me if I am doing something nasty/wrong, that would mean the world to me

Anyone who is interested - I'm currently building up an Angular 1.4 app with ES6 modules, JSPM/SystemJS & a gulp build/bundle process https://github.com/sgwatgit/jspm-systemjs-angular-1x it's a WIP and i'll be updating it over the next few weeks. it currently bundles the app, templates & vendor files separately and has watches for each bundle
The gulp building/bundling is what I'm really trying to keep clean and clear. I hope to get various versions of dev builds & production builds to give examples of each.

I'm reading https://github.com/systemjs/systemjs/blob/master/docs/config-api.md#modules and it says Previously called meta, but in the example below it, it's written meta. I take it should be modules?

@StrahilKazlachev thanks that was an incorrect update to the docs

@guybedford https://github.com/systemjs/systemjs/blob/master/docs/config-api.md#configuration-options - the href for meta still points to modules so it doesn't work.

I'm using SystemJS with Angular2. System.import('./app/app'); resolves to https://registry.jspm.io/app/app.js which 404s (as expected). I'm setting baseURL: '/' in System.config. Any idea what I can do to have it resolve that module correctly.

@StrahilKazlachev thanks
@ninachaubal that sounds like the * path being set by an old version of SystemJS on jspm.io
that behavior shouldn't happen with the latest version of SystemJS
you can potentially also try ~/app/app

@guybedford Ah, I'm on 18.17. I'm going to update that and try again.
