    Now the question is - what should we use the 1.5TB space for? :) Any suggestions?
    Gergely Imreh
    @imrehg

    Okay, since there was no other suggestion, I've started by setting up a Samba/Windows share on the server, that can be accessed over the local network.

    People could use it to pass around data in the hackerspace, or store things or such.... It's accessed at //LEMONADE/storage (or //lemonade.local/storage depending on your system and whether avahi has been installed). Using the ZeroTier network I mentioned before, can connect to it from anywhere in the world, works pretty fast as well!
    Would love to hear if you have any comments.

    as a side note I use zerotier for about 2 years
    Gergely Imreh
    @imrehg
    @mose what's your experience? I'm surprised it's around for this long.

    @mose
    I love it. The author is a real geek so his communication skills are not really impressive
    that could explain why it's relatively unknown
    I have some issues of connectivity when linking from hinet to hinet though, sometimes
    but I have been using it as a substitute to dyndns pretty successfully
    it's just easy private vpn

    hey, i'm a member at london hackspace. i'll be visiting taiwan in ca 2 weeks. can i drop in sometime to say hello?
    Gergely Imreh
    @imrehg
    hey @jasiek that's awesome :) I'm a member of the Taipei Hackerspace and just moved to a few blocks from you in London ;) Would love to drop in to visit you some time too!
    The Taipei hackerspace is open for visits whenever a keyholder is present. That happens more these days, usually Thu/Fri evening should open, as well as Sat mornings/afternoon.
    Could send an email to our mailing list at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/taipeihackerspace when you know when you are in Taiwan. That's more used, gitter was an experiment that sort of emptied out, not many of us use it after all (too many tools, too little time)

    Hey Jan please do drop by! I'll be around pretty much any day when you are there. By any chance do you know Martini Klang? He's been involved with the London hackspace for several years, more on the musical side I guess, there's a whole separate musick hackspace in London... Lucky place http://eavi.goldsmithsdigital.com/visitors/martin-klang/ Greg @imrehg I hope you run into him some time in London, he's a very cool hacker. Which never ceases to amaze me because we just used to drink and smoke and do stupid stuff together years ago in Paris.
    Martin aka Mars, not Martini :D
    Gergely Imreh
    @imrehg
    @kaicarver that's cool, thanks for the recommendation!
    Autocorrect, isn't it? ;)
    Jan Szumiec
    @jasiek
    Excellent. I'll post to the mailing list once I have some firm dates in place.
    Can you recommend a good place to source small quantities of electronic components while in Taipei? I'd love to get my hands on some ESP32s
    Kai Carver
    @kaicarver
    I don't know... As far as I know the ESP32 is still famously hard to get. Can try asking around at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guang_Hua_Digital_Plaza even Taobao doesn't seem to have much right now https://world.taobao.com/search/?q=esp32
    Gergely Imreh
    @imrehg
    @jasiek could check near Guanghwa this store https://goo.gl/maps/68KEcfMXp8P2 or opposite to it there are some stairs going down, there are a bunch of electronics stores, not sure if they have ESP32s, but some of them should. There's one that I remember have a lot of arduino, raspberry, grove, etc... parts, they are a good bet, undergground B1, somewhere further inside
    This store has a lot of components, boards too, not sure about ESP, but worths browsing. They don't know much about it, but do sell it 天瓏網路書店 https://goo.gl/maps/vFQUkkiGCzk

    @imrehg
    I have a feeling it's Tuesday :)
    (but could be wrong, due to time zones)
    Kai Carver
    @kaicarver
    yeah, not clear. Tuesday aka tonight I may not be able to be there, so Wednesday would be better, but let's see what Jan says
    Jan Szumiec
    @jasiek

    I'm also looking to hire at least one c# programmer from Taiwan, perhaps more. Would you know anyone in your network? Maybe I could send you a little announcement?
    Gergely Imreh
    @imrehg
    Hey Zach, the hackerspace mailing list is open, feel free to share your call there, there's a bigger audience than the chat :)

    Hello Taipei Hackerspace! I'm from xinchejian.com, one of the Shanghai hackerspace ... Anyone there today and if so at what time? I saw from the calendar that Tuesday is usually open house, but doesn't seem anything is scheduled for today.

    @benshih
    Hi all, this is Ben. I'm a robotics graduate student at UC San Diego in the US. Visiting family in Taipei this week and was wondering if there's anyone who would be available to chat and show me around the hackerspace? Thanks!
