    @Demo318

    I'd love to hear an interview with Corey Schafer. His YouTube channel has become a repository of incredible information for Python tutorials. https://twitter.com/Demo318/status/953775264089235456

    He seems to kind of come out of nowhere. I think an interview would be very fitting. Spoiler Alert: His favorite editor is sublime text.

    Hi @Demo318, thanks! I put Corey on my potential topic list! I'm recording like mad the last two weeks but when I come back around to pick new topics will definitely think of him.

    @mkennedy_twitter yesterday I was listening to episode #144 (I have a little bit of backlog), if you are interested in the compute infrastructure at CERN, I know they are using OpenStack (lots of python there). I know that Belmiro Moreira (@belmiromoreira on twitter) and Tim Bell (@noggin143 on twitter) did great presentation at OpenStack summit. I guest that if you are interested in recording an episode they are happy to share.

    Hi @scanepa That’s pretty cool. I added it to my list of potential topics. Here’s the video BTW: https://www.openstack.org/videos/hong-kong-2013/deep-dive-into-the-cern-cloud-infrastructure

    @scanepa
    I know, I know. I'm one of those crazy guys deploying OpenStack for the living. They are present at all summit explaining other mad ideas they are implementing.

    I bet! Sounds interesting.

    @kumarvgit
    Hi all ,
    Python version 3.5, os Ubuntu 64 bit, am having trouble in preserving the python list with linefeed , currently I have a string and the moment it is inserted in list all linefeed character gets converted to \n.
    Michael Kennedy
    @mkennedy_twitter
    Hi @kumarvgit That’s probably a better question for the Lobby rather than show topics.

    @parity3
    @mkennedy_twitter , I can't remember exactly, but I think you talked to someone about curio a while back.. have you considered having Nathaniel J Smith @njsmith, the creator of trio on your show? I think he's really starting to crack the case on async python. He's done a lot of research into the history of async for inspiration on his library and it may be a great conversation to hear on your show. I have played around a bit and his library is way nicer IMO than the others, and it strives to preserve accountability and exception passing, remove all the hidden buffers and timing issues that can contribute to those infamous heisenbugs that come around when doing async
    Nathaniel J. Smith
    @njsmith
    @parity3 he actually invited me ages ago, and I've been flaky and failing to schedule it
    parity3
    @parity3
    he just did a pycon talk in cleveland apparently
    Nathaniel J. Smith
    @njsmith
    (also, I did not know that gitter would notify me if someone @-mentioned me in a random room I'm not in, but apparently it does!)
    parity3
    @parity3
    ya me neither. but I guess it makes sense lol
    Michael Kennedy
    @mkennedy_twitter
    Ha, hi @njsmith Yes, let’s find a time? Just pick a time here: https://calendly.com/mikeckennedy/podcast

    Hi @mkennedy_twitter - just listened to the
    podcast with David Holmes.
    Was really interested to hear more about how he moved his School Diversity Report off ECS to be serverless.
    i listened to the azure podcast which was great as an introduction on this topic. But more nitty gritty info would be something I’d really enjoy. Thanks for an always informative show!
    Michael Kennedy
    @mkennedy_twitter
    Thanks @_pillemer_twitter Yeah, definitely interesting. Serverless is pretty cool indeed. We’re working on a course about Lambda right now actually.
