    which will bring some Star Wars into R! :D
    Martin Skarzynski
    @marskar
    I added a ReadMe to the materials I added yesterday. I used the html preview method that @j_colomb_twitter shared yesterday to include links to each lesson html.

    @marcosvital
    Great, Martin, just saw your PR, thanks!
    Francesca Mancini
    @FrancescaMancini
    That sounds so cool! :+1:
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Hope will be fun for people to use; it is being really fun to build!
    Anyway, I'm leaving for an hour or two, have to pick up my kids at school. See you all later!
    Martin Skarzynski
    @marskar
    See you later!
    Francesca Mancini
    @FrancescaMancini
    @marcosvital GitHub managed to confuse me (as always...), so I hope I didn't make a mess with my last PR. Let me know if something went wrong. Of course all the material I just created is open for suggestions, improvements and extensions :smile:
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    I'm back (I mean, almost, just cheking here and will be truly back in a few minutes) Don't worry, @FrancescaMancini , I'll take a look. I'm pretty new to GitHub too...
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    I think the PR worked fine, @FrancescaMancini ! Thanks for that!
    Francesca Mancini
    @FrancescaMancini
    Yay! :smile:
    looks like we've got quite a collection of R teching material already. I would say it was a very successful sprint for Teach R :smile:
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Yes, I'm so happy! :D
    Martin Skarzynski
    @marskar
    Awesome!
    What should we do to build on this success? Should we streamline and merge all materials into one main series of materials?
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    @marskar this would be really great! I believe that a way to start that would be to go through all the material and write a guide about it, that could be updated every time new material is added
    This way we could turn it into a big series
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    I missed the call yesterday, but I'm up for today's update call
    if any of you want to check out, this is the etherpad link:
    it is starting in a few minutes
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    hey, @all ! It's almost five pm here in Brazil, and for now I would like to say Thank you so much! Your help and enthusiasm was great during the sprint, and I'm extremely happy with our project advances so far. I'll stay committed to this project after the sprint, so this is not a goodbye, but a see you all soon! :D
    Martin Skarzynski
    @marskar
    See you soon!
    Sachin Pawaskar
    @SachinPawaskarUNO
    @marcosvital I'm working on a lesson - Data Visualization with GGPlot2. Can you add me/us as collaborators on the GitHub project, so that I can upload it? Not sure what the process is.
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Hi, @SachinPawaskarUNO , I took a break since now is late night here in Brazil, but I can add you, sure. It is also possible for you to fork the repository, upload it and send as a pull request.
    Anyway, I'll be back here quickly during the weekend, and I'll keep spending some time in the project next week, so we will keep working, ok?
    Sachin Pawaskar
    @SachinPawaskarUNO
    Hi, @marcosvital, Thanks for the quick reply, I have gone ahead and forked the repo, will send you a pull request when I'm done.
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Hi, @SachinPawaskarUNO ! Thanks for that, and let me know if you need some help.
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    To @all, I was away for a few days because the amount of work waiting for me after the sprint was huge... But I'm almost done with that, and will be back soon to work regularly in the project.
    But since I'm here now, I would like to thank you all again! That was an amazing sprint, and I'm happy to see this project move forward.
    See you all soon!
    Sachin Pawaskar
    @SachinPawaskarUNO
    @marco, I have submitted a pull request for the DataViz using ggplot2 course. Please take a look and merge appropriately. It was great working with you all on the mozilla-sprint-2017 over June 1st - 2nd. Lets continue to collaborate.
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Thank you so much, @SachinPawaskarUNO ! I'll take a look at the pull request today. And yes, lets continue to collaborate, the project is just starting!
    Alejandro Gómez
    @alexfuser
    Hi, I’am mozilla rep and I would like to contribute to the project, I am currently studying a course of analysis and data visualization with R. In what I can support, with pleasure.
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Hello there, @alexfuser ! Welcome, and thank you for you interest!
    Take a look on the material we got so far, and feel free to ask me anything. We still have a long way to go with this project, and any help is great!
    PKRVXN
    @PKRVXN
    Hi Marcos, just took my first 3 chapters of R and jumping in. I think it premature to partake on any projects on git, but definitely dreaming about it.
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Hi, @PKRVXN , sorry about taking so long to answer! Thanks for coming here, and feel free to chat anytime. Even if you are still starting with R, your feedback about the project and our material so far could be valuable, ok?
    KIP
    @KipOmaha
    Sorry @marcosvital, I've been busy I'm going to get caught up on the project and look through issues for your site and see if their needs any pull requests that need to be made.
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Hi, there, @KipOmaha ! No problem at all, I've been very busy lately as well. I'll answer you at github in a couple of days, ok? (My weeks always start out with a lot of work to do from Monday to Wednesday)
    Pi Toolie
    @PiReel
    :) thanks for the reply
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Hi there, @/all , long time no see! Sorry for my long absence here... The last few months were insanely busy for me, and even thought I was willing to spend more time on the project, I was never able to do so. :(
    Anyway, I'm writing now because I have the perfect opportunity to start working on it again, with full enthusiasm: I'm going to MozFest next week, and I'm holding a session to discuss the project! :D
    There is some info about the session here: MozillaFoundation/mozfest-program-2017#595
    and it is already listed on the event's guidebook:
    If anyone here is also planning to attend to MozFest, please let me know, and drop by the session, ok? ;)
    KIP
    @KipOmaha
    Will definitely be online but can't attend in person :(
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Too bad that you can't go, @KipOmaha ... :( I'm not sure how things going to work there (with internet connection and the space that we are going to use), but I'll see if we can livestream the session, so people could join the discussion from the web!
    Marcos Vital (LEQ-UFAL)
    @marcosvital
    Hi, everyone! I created an issue, and if anyone here wants to discuss, contribute or bring any sort of ideas abou the session in MozFest, you can do it here: marcosvital/teach-R-project#19
